the puddles are models so it wouldn't conflict with this if that's what you mean. I honestly think they look fine as they are in the vanilla. the supposed refractive puddle overshoots the parameters so much that it looks like a puddle of mercury

Hey, thanks for reporting the issue, but the problem is that the base game "liquid\ruralwater_river" is 100% opaque. meaning you cannot see through it. When this mod makes the water transparent you can see the ground under the water, not visible during a gameplay without this mod.

The ground uses a material called "lostcoast\nature\sandfloor007d" which is not available in the base game, and Jimmy did not include it in his campaign either, so it shows up as missing texture.

It is very confusing because the ground is placed like 2 units under the water surface, so it does look like the water is fucked.

TL;DR It ain't my fault, brutha.

the most recent update mostly reuses the hard rain edit i made. skybox reflection gives the water its color the most, but yes, The Parish one is too blue, and I'll eventually get to it. Maybe in another half a year.

I feel like some of the water colours you've chosen are *too* blue and don't match with that map's skybox. I'd tweak the Parish one to be closer to it's original colour and make Hard Rain's greyer

Great job! Even though the water isn't the "best"
Still (in my opinion) better than the other water mods, since i see this mod doesn't have the visual bugs on maps like "the parish"
I hope you can improve them because it has the potential to be the best water mod (or at least the way I see it xd):er_uwu:

Mine has shitty water refraction color change and no entity reflection because it messes up with the map's sun placement, and area portals. That one only enabled entity reflection which also has the same issue. There is a Google Drive version in the description that has all the change in this mod with the entity reflection.

If you like the vanilla water color, take the one in your link.

For some reason it conflicts with Valve's Missing Content Fix Vol. 3 which it shouldn't since it only Adds back all the missing L4D1 assets

Thanks, but the main upload doesn't have entity reflection due to issues it introduces. It's a little outdated, but if you want the entity reflection one, you'd have to use the Google Drive version.
