Oh, I forgot to mention, the colors will change a little if it's not a temperate biome map. The lighting for each is different, but just play around with some LUTs, which is at the bottom of the list of Workshop item categories. Those are also completely safe - just a color filter.

Hi, sure! You can put it on any map. If it is not a temperate biome map, just use the mod Environment Changer and you'll then be able to use any of these themes on any map / city save game.

I was going to make Beirut, too, but Tel Aviv got so much hate and bombed with thumbs down votes just because of where the real place is that I had no appetite to keep going with maps from the region. :/ So stupid to review bomb a blank map just because you don't like the real place.

Haha thanks I ended up using Theme Mixer for it, and yes I have to say I looks really good on Tropical maps as well, makes it look like maquis shrubland

The reason why you don't see many available is because themes are made specifically for one environment. For example, this theme is made for temperate maps (not tropical). The Environment Changer mod allows you the full freedom to do what you are trying to do. :)

does anyone know why I can select map themes? I have this downloaded but most of my maps dont have themes available to in the list, even if I have a bunch of themes. Its so annoying

Hey ok, this is actually a map theme, so what it does is make any city look like it is located on the Eastern Mediterranean coast. I made an Eilat map a long time ago. I've been considering Beirut and Haifa, but either will take a long time until I can get to them. Tel Aviv map will be out soon, and will use this theme.
Hey Chawinns, I'm able to use Prop It Up without problems, so my guess is that you might be using a mod that conflicts with Prop It Up.

Thanks Skignovilous! Hi Alecthelm, yup, it's Levant brighter test. Every time I try to save it into the final name, it compresses everything down to 9 MB. Simply bizarre. Some day I might figure out what is wrong but until then we'll all have to use that file without the proper preview image.
