The mod seems to add an unmarked town between the flotsam scout posts and suspicious lab. The town is empty, no npcs, just empty buildings and some stone nodes. Deleting the mod removed the town. No idea if it's from this mod or from a weird compatibility issue.

does the mod work or not? is it a case of mod conflict or it's broken even by itself in vanilla?

downloaded the mod and "cleaned" it up in FCS, cannibals head drop for me but change into cats when transfering to one of my characters inventory.

I would like a working version without dancing with a tambourine.

for who do i sell the heads to ?

Just spent a few days in the fishing village...hundreds of dead cannibals, no heads.

I moved the old mod to Kenshi's mod folder, downloaded the new one from Steam, copied its icon folder to the old mod, edited the old mod with the FCS to change the dimensions of the heads to 2 by 2 and point the paths to the icons. And I'm happy to say that it works fine. I can sell the heads to any vendor. I have no other mods that change the cannibals.

I guess it was edited wrong or something because at first there was no icon and then someone contirbuted and made a Icon so the new one is basically merging the icon and the old version so you dont have to dowload both but I guess maybe something was merged wrong I had lost the original files so I had to dowload the mod from steam and then merge it with the other one

So I was getting the same bugs/problems people seem to have, but then I put it to the bottom in the load order, in this order:

Cannibal hunting is now a job (OLD one)
Cannibal hunting is now a job (NEW one)
Cannibals expanded
2 other mods for Cannibals Expanded

I did this and now it seems to be working fine. Could the main problem be that you have to have both the old and the new version at the same time? In that case isn't the new version more of a patch?

That all aside - thanks for the great mod, always wanted to make a living just by hunting cannibals. ❤️

it doesnt work i have a mod for more canibal tribes instaled but even the basic ones dont have the heads....

i think my old version is less bugged than this

If not I will just redo the mod and repost it and see if it fixes it it didnt take me that long anyyways

Oh yeah that cannnibal hunting mod was my old one without the icon I believe I updated thiso ne but i guess it still has problems

Oh the other mod I had yeah that one I lost the files to that one so I couldnt up the prices im going to try and look into this tho sorry for the late response

The other cannibal hunting mod I tried was this one (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1653282169) couldn't find it immediately, so I linked it a bit later. I'm not a fan of this one though, as the prices were really a downer for me X)

Nope. Other than Living World (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1772722749) which does alter certain npc equipment defaults and adds certain mob varieties like city hero bowman & stuff, but I didn't notice any change done to cannibals. I do not have any other mod affecting cannibals. I did however try out the other mod for cannibal hunting and that one worked, but the heads of regular cannibals were only 90 cats at 2kg each, so barely worth picking, only if for killing them off.

wierd do you have any mods that change the cannibals?

Tried this mod, didn't work. New game, mod at the bottom of list, killed a scrawny and it didn't drop anything.

So I just tried this mod. Is it working as intended? I can rightclick the heads and then I get the cats strait away (like when you loot cats from bodies/chests). I thought that it would work like a regular item I have to go to the store and sell.

I found the head from dust bandit, even more than one with one body. I installed bandit expanded

ok I found the way if you go in to the workshop file in steam and open the file of this mod, you will see Cannibal hunting is now job (2) MOD file. Since that disturb all the connection, you need to rename it to _Cannibal hunting is now job. Once you change it you will be able to see all icons and images of the head in their inventory.
I personally liked the concept of mod but not a single person tried to fix it so I had to look up

Yea see I'd actually forgotten I had this mod installed for a long while until I went through my mod list to clear it out...I've never once found a head on any cannibal

Strictly speaking, when collecting bounties historically, ears were collected for mass killings where identifiecation wasn't necessary. Heads were only collected in cases where the bounty was an important person and you needed to be able to identify them. /endrant

I am having same issue as kaiser has. Also I know the reason too as I looked into mod folder and files.
There is 2 .mod files.
One is Cannibal Hunting is now a job.mod and second one is Cannibal Hunting is now a job (2).mod. Game loads Cannibal Hunting is now a job (2).mod file as mod. This file is merely size of 1.52kt and it only contains cannibal head size info and nothing else. Basically whole mod is in Cannibal Hunting is now a job.mod file which is not loaded.
Only way I got it working was to make whole new mod and merge Cannibal Hunting is now a job.mod and Cannibal Hunting is now a job (2).mod files.
After that heads are at least displayed in inventory but they are missing their actual icon. They are only shown as big X. That is probably because Path to icon folder is incorrect but I guess that was problem in my end.

I just thought you wanted to know if there is anyone who has problems with mod. If you would fix it someday.

@kaiser thats wierd its working for most people do you have any icon mods maybe you dowloaded my other one to by accident which is bugged with the icon effect
