If you had even paid a lick of attention to my workshop maps, you'd know that Confirmation was my last workshop map, period.
Tasthesose 20. sep. 2015 kl. 15:42

Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. 2015 kl. 9:24
It's not a glitch as much as it's just a cheap workaround.
Petutski 28. juni 2015 kl. 19:31
Ok.
bonkrood 28. aug. 2014 kl. 14:15
It would be cool in a map. :)

Can't wait to see this concept in a test map!
Nocct 4. okt. 2013 kl. 14:56
this is the most amazing funtion I have ever seen in a portal 2 map! You could use it in so many ways to make puzzles ten times more fun and difficult! It would be like a First Person puzzle version of Fractured Soul (Steam Greenlight and 3DS), but maybe better!
ashquarky 10. sep. 2013 kl. 14:14
Really liked the idea. Didn't really get how the futre makes the cube into a box, seemingly not unpacked yet. Also: quick bug: The observation chambers seem to be stuck in the FUTuRE!
Still, Love the idea. Thumbs-up.
AceHeavenX 5. sep. 2013 kl. 10:52
ok
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2013 kl. 16:23
Well, I may meet some unforeseen consequences here that would result in such a thing never being created.
AceHeavenX 3. sep. 2013 kl. 11:34
What do u mean?
DestinedPotato 1. sep. 2013 kl. 7:21
really clever idea love it
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 31. aug. 2013 kl. 16:21
I may or I may not. It depends on how things are going here on my end.
AceHeavenX 31. aug. 2013 kl. 9:26
Wait... this is awesome! Can you include it in a custom map? You're not forced...
FrostGiant 30. aug. 2013 kl. 6:05

Or if that doesn't work, perhaps just prevent the cube from rotating?
Sunroses 26. aug. 2013 kl. 18:22
Okay, I'm sorry. I was too harsh. I don't really know anything about it, but I think it might help if the distance constraints (if I even know how this works) are absolute and not dependent on the cube's angle?
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 26. aug. 2013 kl. 17:28
I already know about the both-cubes-in-one-time-period thing, alright?! It's not a thing I can immediately fix with my own abilities. If I wanted to fix it, I'd have to ask advice from rendermouse, the creator of the map Quantum Entanglement. Because I have no idea how to make it better by myself.
Sunroses 26. aug. 2013 kl. 14:27
Okay, you know what? This is just too cheap, even by your standards. I can't give this the thumbs-up, I'm sorry. Fix the issue with both cubes appearing in the same room, then we'll talk.
Sunroses 26. aug. 2013 kl. 14:25
Here's a screenshot of what Thjat Guy You Might Know said:

howhowhowhow
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 25. aug. 2013 kl. 13:02
It makes about as much sense as the tenth doctor and the fifth doctor together in the same room. Eh? You merged the time streams.
That Guy You Might Know 25. aug. 2013 kl. 11:38
Very cool, but not sure if you know this, but if you put the cube on it's side/tilt it forward, the crate and cube end up in the same room. (Not sure if you get what I'm saying)
AsinoEsel 25. aug. 2013 kl. 7:01
Thank you SO much! Exactly what I needed!
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 24. aug. 2013 kl. 14:19
Env_fade, output set to FadeReverse for 1 second.
AsinoEsel 24. aug. 2013 kl. 8:32
Thanks for your reply :D
Yes, it's Aperture. I have one open question however: When you time travel there is this white flash. My question is: How did you do that? I searched for sooo many tutorials on YouTube but I couldn't find anything. What entity do I have to choose? A reply would be nice, since I need it for my map, too.
Tredenix 24. aug. 2013 kl. 3:24
I worked out how it's done: the old room is above the new one, since tipping the cube on its side makes the box appear above it. Left-clicking simply teleports you either up or down depending on which room you're in at the time. I've seen a similar idea used in a Minecraft puzzle map that the Yogscast did a while ago.
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 23. aug. 2013 kl. 18:41
If the cube is suspended in mid-air before time travel, it will still be in the same position however may years later the device takes you. How it stays suspended like that for that long, I don't know. It's Aperture.
AsinoEsel 23. aug. 2013 kl. 10:15
Very interesting concept! I found a glitch however: You can throw the cube in the past in the air, if you you then swap time the cube will still fly in the air :D (I hope you understand what I mean, english isn't my 1st language :/)
Milo 23. aug. 2013 kl. 9:55
i found that if you put the cube on your head here are tthe chances:getting stuck in a box or getting both the cube and the box in rthe same dimension and none in the other
██████████ 22. aug. 2013 kl. 21:06
that burns your house down!
██████████ 22. aug. 2013 kl. 21:05
wow so with the divice investing on a company that maks flaming lemmons then going foward will make u have a buch of combustabul lemmons!
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 22. aug. 2013 kl. 17:48
It involves a very complicated process that involves going back in time with a non-handheld time travel device, investing in Aperture so they make combustible lemons, then going back to the future, purchasing 100,000 of them to combust the universe of your alternate self and stealing his handheld time manipulation device.

How Did You Make The Portal gun Into A "Time Gun"? (I Might Have A Pretty Awesome Use For In Too)

I love the stuff ALLOS Makes

wildgoosespeeder 21. aug. 2013 kl. 20:57
Even though this is just a demo, past experience has told me that time travel concepts are just too much of a concept to sell.

Try my test:

An effective use of two stacked rooms that have point_teleports connected to a proxy to acheive the desired effect on left click. Alright, now make a map with it.
TheBillinator3000 20. aug. 2013 kl. 16:47
I know that, I made you say the solution for the people who don't know what to do.
Anachronistic ALLOS  [ophavsmand] 20. aug. 2013 kl. 16:26
@TheBillinator3000 Just warp back to the past to get unstuck.
GoatCart 20. aug. 2013 kl. 13:40
Yet another great map. Keep it up ALLOS!
