caves sounds nice for keeping the infestation out. I never used it for securing as I worried that my pawn will step on them. Can I even lay them on sea ice?

I have this mod in my mod list through many saves.. still hasn't found any reason to ever put them down yet, I wonder if i can put them on sea ice.... for what though

Was it tested with TibRim? If yes, does the tiberium/veins just destroy the stuff like any other structure?

Ooooh! That would be great to place in a closed off Infestation prone area. Bugs pop in, get shredded, if they don't get out it'll keep growing and screw them up.

I find it is a perfect plant to fill old tombs vandals may enter to desecrate, only to find themselves prickled by deadly thorns!

Update! Rimworld doesn't seem to have a vanilla disable re-arm function, so I updated the mod a little. Now it only costs 10 steel or the cost of a horseshoe pin. Basically plant support for your initial one. Also the plant will never give you steel whether it is destroyed or deconstructed.

Vines don't like doors, with all the opening and closing it's damaging to them, so they avoid growing there.
