@Waryth that doesn't make any sense. You're playing a game where you eviscerate zombies with a chainsaw or beheading them with a fire axe, shooting their bodies with massive bullet holes, flying limbs from pipe bombs and heads popping off with a headshot from gunfire and you're complaining that this mod is gory? Jesus christ what did we just played this game for?

I'm going to talk about this specific line in his statement. The creator of the mod nagging about the results of his work on how it got downvoted immediately since obviously the public didn't like it. Its not his fault but the reasoning is just an immature to blame other people for it. The specific work he created ain't for majority but only for a few bunch of people. He then mentioned about the workshop not getting "REAL" modders some recognition.

FYI, upon checking his other workshop mods that aren't creepy as this were mostly positive compared to this. If he's just going to stop making mods or even update it just because of that specific incident then he's not even a "REAL" modder himself.

A real modder would just keep making his works that he's proud of and its up to the people to appreciate or not. He's not obliged to make content and have a huge expectation from everyone to give him upvotes. Unfortunately, that's not how it works as he think it does.

I didn't even downvoted this workshop. I just happened to see this and its description. A bunch of you are clueless with what's going on not knowing what other people sides are. All I did was explain what's causing the downvotes.

The creator of this mod is free to do his thing but NOT all he'll make is going to be appreciated by people for what he does no matter what amount of hours of work you put into it. You would have known this already if you have a job and by the way you talk things here sounds like you don't have one yet. Its you who needs to grow up and make up some realization that not everyone appreciates everything.

@Waryth It's a horror game about killing zombies. Grow the fuck up dude. It's also really messed up for you to call these "dark desires" as if it's somehow the creator indulging in a fantasy, when it's plain and simple content for a game that others may find enhances their experience. That's the point of the steam workshop. If you can't handle blood and gore, you have no business trying to tell other people what's appropriate. The game is already "inappropriate" by your standards, so don't go selectively demonizing certain creators' hard work just because it's a little too disturbing for your weak stomach.

okay, I'm really bothered about the description regarding about the down votes.

What you make in the workshop are extremely gory, very terrible and horrible looking to be simply applaud by the community. Everyone is sensitive about certain content especially towards yours along with your other mods that'll haunt players to their dreams.

Most players will down vote it if they don't like it. It has nothing to do with the effort you pulled into gory content when that's not what everyone wants. What you make is so controversial. I recommend you make different content outside this dark desires of yours if you really want to be known for your effort and recognition as a Mod Maker.

I love this mod. One problem though, and I don't know if you could help me fix this but, my game crashes everytime there are more than 5 tanks at once. Could it be the effects on the tank? Or may it be another mod I have?

Honestly i think it has nothing to do with me or others modders affected by these downvotes, it happens on others workshop like csgo too, its just some poeple manipulating the workshop to get more views and likes on low effort mods .
I will continue to do some mods on my side and release it when i feel its ok, check artworks for news.

That's pretty much why I was on that downvote thing. Nepnep, you're right, but the fact is-is that you tell people what you want through upvotes and what you don't through downvotes. The system has/is currently being abused, but Steam is a community-driven and maintained operation. Words don't do much anymore as the 21st century is often standing by for validation, so then I'm not going to support that validation. I intend to openly oppose it, unless some other medium decides to intermediate here.

And yes, good mods are being downplayed by the weaboo pedo plague. L4D2 workshop need Chris Hanson now more than ever.
