Hi Nendur, I´ve been trying to play ck2 ironman (with the submod) and it crashes, would you happen to know why? Do you suggest any version of the game to play in to avoid crashes?

Characters that have their hair and beard style predefined in the history files don't adapt to later changes.

The tailor works fine, but when I use the barber on the count of Sakya in 1066, I don't see any of the hair/beard options when I click through, and when I press "accept," it doesn't save my options. Any thoughts on this.

There can be conflicting overlapping changes to unit models. Errors are likely only visual.

Is this compatible with unit model mods like Manic's or Vityviktor's?

Hi. There is something wrong with Coptic children. Sometimes Coptic children have issues with lack of child portraits. They just look like typical adult. I've removed your mod and portrait was changed from adult to child portrait.

The dependancies in betterlookinggarbs.mod and blgccaftertheend.mod can be updated to "After the End Anniversary Edition" to work for the new edition. I'll be updating sometime later.

You're right, two of the helmets don't come with clothes but still disable the normal layers. In interface/portrait_properties/34_special_helmet.txt, the wearable winged helmet and the wearable wrapped helmet should have the line labeled 'Hide Clothes' removed.

hey, quick question. when you get any helmet artifacts, such as the winged crest of crusader helmets, they are shown in the character portrait but the character will either not be wearing armor underneath or straight up not wear any clothes aside from the helmet. any way to remedy this?

The availability of crowns and similar headgear is based on the characters rank.
The numbering is based on starting from 1, where the internal property starts at 0. That keeps the automatic selection as the default value.

there is a strange issue i've been encountering. some headgear(and maybe clothes i didnt check) become unavailable or are labeled incorrectly in the customize appearance menu
for scottish women you can only choose between ptions 5 to 11 (incorrectly labeled as options 6 to 12)
for scottish men you can only choose between ptions 4 to 13(incorrectly labeled as 5 to 14)
egyptian men and women missing their 14th (their 13th at its place, incorrectly labeled as 14th)
something strange with turkish where one of the headgear switch places.
other cultures like greek are unaffected
issue persisted after i turned off every other mod. the headgear pieces are still available in ruler designer but dissappear when playing.

No, you will have to skip CPR to use BLG with HIP.

The BLG/CC with ironman achievements submod works for BLG full too.

Those packs unfortunatly only collected the older small dlc. Many of the expansions and contents packs are also required. There is a sidebar on this page with the list.
You were talking about the installer version of BLG as well, that does a selective install based on whats available.

One last question, it says I need DLC for this. What DLC do I need? I have the Ultimate Portrait Pack and Units pack. What else is needed?

Ok, I think I figured out my problem. I think other mods were interfering because it made all my characters look like trash.

The installer is looking for the Crusader Kings install directory containing the ck2.exe executable and the dlc directory.

Trying to install from the zip and it keeps sending me in circles when selecting the install destination. Which folder should it be in?

I know this is a minor feature that u probably are not going to add... but have you considered making it so that characters don't have beards while from 14-19 or something like that (I play with the setting that it shows adult portraits from 14 up).

Are you playing as greek culture? They have imperial diadems as default for emperors so this works different for them.

My characters suddenly stopped wearing the Imperial Diadem. I've tried reinstalling the mod and even manually installing the modular version but nothing fixed it... Is there any fix to this? Other crowns like the Reichskrone and the Iron Crown of Lombardy work as intended.

The visigoth portraits are used in mods where the visigoths are separate from the general iberian population.

My Visigothic portraits don't look the same compared to the ones shown on the mod page.
