Yeah i didn't know until i made a request for Mlie to update it to 1.1, and someone told me it was updated already.

Surprised i actually managed to miss the mod too, i usually go through the entire list until i get to the point i was at last time. (The newest from the last time i checked)

And that is why i dont use the minify everything mods..... XD just read one guy got his walls stolen, back in Alpha 17 had a similar issue and never used that mod again.

Embrasures out of this stuff wouldnt be really fair, plus that going to be hit alot and take forever to repair.....so I dont think it should happen.

@Sunblood this is a conflict with some other mod that allows AI to uninstall stuff. A few guys had this happen several pages back in these comments, and then tracked it to some mod that was causing it.

Hey Auth I don't have any modding experience with Rimworld but I do have extensive modding experience in general and I had an idea on how to get the walls repaired. The problem is Pawns take too long to repair walls to the point that they do them for multiple days right? What if you had an event fire every night at a certain time that automatically repaired the walls or just gave them a regenerative ability?

@Speed - Yes, it would be overwritten. I don't have any updates planned at the minute. I looked at increasing repair speed, but that's trickier than it wounds. Better to have people deconstruct and reubuild for now.

I've looked into the repair issue a few times. There isn't anything easy I can do. May be easier to deconstruct and reconstruct? I can make some kind of tool, and add it to the mod. So the pawn use the tool when they are working, and repair time is much increased. The issue is that it's much faster to repair everything, not just the vault.

For the repair time issue you can just zone out the wall from home area or rebuild it.

@Speed scan your C drive (if Windows), else the drive where Steam is installed, for a vile called Vault.xml That's the one you want to tweak. When you open it, just scan for Devilstrand, Metallic, and Stony. Those are what the walls/doors are currently made of. Alter the value at devilstrand to change the amount of that, else look for the costStuffCount tag, and alter it to change the amount of stone and metal required.

Thanks for the reply. but i rather suggests to add an option to enable/disable repair. multiplying repair amount may cause this mod became overpower. but with the option to disable the repair, all i have to do is rebuild it again with proper timing while i don't even worrying if my colonists still fall in love with cracked vault walls...:steamhappy:

I believe there's an effect for it. Just check out the Modifiers in custom scenario's. It should be there, if it exists. (Although i don't think there is)

I can add some additional pics when I get a chance. I'll leave a note on that.

Repair time is commensurate with damage taken. I didn't really consider that I guess, but if it takes thousands of points of damage, it'll take forever. I will note that as an issue as well. Maybe I can multiply their efforts on it somehow.

@SilverTalismen - I use the Terraform mod to make all my settlements have mountain ceilings, it prevents drop-ins unless you have a specifically clear area for drop-pods.

@Just Another User, Like the Dev said, it depends on the material. There will always be numerical values of "health" or "durability" on things. (Ie, Guns, Apparel, walls, doors, etc)

@Primordial Hydra - no problem! I just messaged the guy that made the linkable doors mod and ask him to add it. The patch was required on his side; but I did provide the code for him so it wasn't a hassle.

I noticed that the doors will now merge and get bigger (longer) if you use the proper mod for that. (Forgot the name, will say so after this) Thanks for adding that. :)
