1. The monsters constantly drift off in weird directions before inexplicably teleporting back to the ground after a while, often well away from the ground below them.
2. The enemy counter regularly goes back up, often just after a wave has been whittled down enough for the last few enemies to be marked.
3. Enemies freeze in place if you're standing on the slope. With how mental FPs are this is often a good thing, their raging makes actually EXP farming on this a pain.
4. Several bosses will shoot back with impunity, definitely a rude awakening. What's weird is how inconsistent it is. The Patriarch and Matriarch constantly plink at you, Hans only attacks when you're off the slope, but King Fleshpound never uses his laser.
5. Several bosses play their spawn intro twice for some weird reason.
6. Minor, the defend zone on top of the slope has no boundary outline, only showing the exclamation marker.

and maybe more of the even lower gravity stuff for a silly fun-fest?
The gravity wacky, too! (The standalone map for normal gravity doesn't seem to work for me. Dunno what's up with that.)
Tossing grenades is a pain. You overshoot zeds all together, they float away and explode without dealing any damage, or they come back and kill you. Gravity also messes with the bodies and makes them bug out - clipping through walls, ceiling & the floor. This, + body parts floating everywhere = low FPS. I've had to turn down my gore and Nvidia Flex options as this was happening often - even more so with explosions.
And not to mention, the map isn't Berserker friendly. Have fun trying to level up that perk. (Especially when you have to protect the area - Melee class protecting an area nowhere close to the zeds tends to have a tough time killing them.)
BUT!
Even with all this, it is a decent map to grind on. I haven't found a better one... (yet).
3.5 / 5 stars
- Like another commenter said, Fleshpounds kill your XP and it gets annoying
- Performance quickly drops as waves go on. A lack of optimization makes grinding a pain
- Enemies still move around too much, making headshot-focused classes a pain to work with
I recommend checking the farming maps from KF1 in how they do their stuff.
10/10
I'll post here when I do it.
I eventually got to where I knew where I could bounce them and rebound them off the floor then ceiling in order to hit the groups of zeds.
With multiple classes.
It has been a couple months since I last played the map though, just checked back to see if there were any updates to it or new versions posted I should know about.
The aiming was just to show you its not "flying exactly straight."
There are no cross hairs.
I was missing a lot as compared to normal game play, it was just a request jeeze.
I am aiming at the floor:

It hits the wall:

The effect really messes with demolition as the grenade's no longer arc down but they kinda lift upwards to the sky, also the support class double barrel and 4 barrel gun make you fly if you use their alt fire lol
The yellow caught me a bit off guard at first, got used to the pink lol. There is a slight odd spot though, you can access the trader on both ramps, but not on the raised platform. Unsure if it's intentional, or if shifting the trader further up broke the higher up zone of it. But it doesn't matter much honestly.
I know visual displays can be a super PITA when it comes to contrast and resolution. Sometimes aspect ratio.
Have you had this issue before and if so when and why?
I will be sure to give this a test drive in a little while, will post any advice that I come across when I do :)
