@La Marseillaise, the way hoi4 works wouldn't allow that. the way nation's names work are with "cosmetic tags" basically tags but for names/colours. for renaming countries, the mod creator would have to make a cosmetic tag for every single possible combination of letters. that is why it wouldn't be possible, sadly enough. i'm sure it can't be too hard to add it in the files, but what do i know?, i'm not a modder. you could also try "rename your nation" it doesn't have everything but it does have a lot of names for most countries.

Could you make it so you could have a name show on the party tab, but have an expanded name when you hover over it? For example, you could rename the German non-aligned party to "Wehrmacht Military Coalition" but on the party tab, it would show up as "WMC" and "Wehrmacht Military Coalition" would show up on the tooltip

@Germano CP MD uses a whole different ideology system that is incompatible with this mod

does it work with the 1.9.3 Millenium Dawn? bcs when i click to rename, the box that open´s doesn´t have anything, just a box to change the language only, i can´t even tipe a word on it.

An indirect way of doing so would be setting the game verision back to 1.9.1 or before, which is when they removed the mod loading list feature.

How to do so:

1. Go to https://accounts.paradoxplaza.com/games . Sign in or create an account.
2.Select "Games" and under "Access earlier versions". Copy the code next to Hearts of Iron IV. 3.Go to your "Library" tab in Steam and right click on the HoI4 icon and select "Properties".
4. Navigate to the "Beta" tab and select the box in the center of the menu.
5. Input the code you retrieved from the website.
6. Select the relevant version of HoI as needed.

I believe this functions for all previous versions of HoI, all the way back to 1.0.0.
