@abxpxix Because imported textures and assets from other games made a wider and more prettier map than the base Half Life 2 textures and props.

kashyyyk map has error because need's half life 2 ep 2 and h2 p2 too big can you change texture ? to sky

i have Hl2 EP 2 installed as well as counter strike source and the treetops are still missing textures, as for the trees themselves and the grass there are substitute textures in the base Gmod lineup that wouldnt make that much of a difference if you wanted to swap them out just so people dont have to go and get all this additional content, but either way the treetops will either have to go or be replaced with another Gmod texture as even with the required content they are still missing textures. If you still make maps that is

It does. But it doesn't for HL2: Ep2 and CS:s, both of which are required for this.

Doesn't Gmod have hl2 textures? (Considering that Gmod was a mod for hl2)

For all of you weebs that wont buy the required games there is tutorials online (simple google search) to where you can download the required files for CSS and others

My lord i love this map but it has missing textures, i read all the description and also read the comments and i agree with @asianalien too also if you are replacing the textures then we will be waiting. take all the time you need :)

It's not gonna happen any time soon though. Replacing all that content with new custom content will take a lot of time as I have to make all new textures and models for that.

I'd have to replace all the props and textures with custom content. There's really wouldn't be much left after stripping out all the props and textures from CSs and Ep2
Both games you need are seriously cheap and get you a wealth of cool props that you can use in Gmod.

could you make a version of this that kinda mimics the redwood forest in california
(obviously removing the treeside houses and stuff like that)
with some roads and gas stations scattered around

The trees, houses, crystals are all brushes

The only custom model I made that's in this map is the Sentinel Landingcraft, which has been released separately. So that ship is free to use in maps.

No. It's the legal way to do it. This uses content from other games, so you need those games for it to work. It's very simple.

Just buy the games for those textures. They've been on sale so many times there's really no reason not to have them.

i really like this map, i've had it forever lol. i feel like kashyyyk doesnt get enough love lol i think people should make more kashyyyk maps but really just more star wars maps in general :)

btw, i might make a clone save when the updatte comes out
