Apex  [tekijä] 28.5.2017 klo 17.51
It's available on portal2backstock and it's called BEEmod 2.
Medvedev 28.5.2017 klo 10.46
but in what place and how is it called?
Medvedev 28.5.2017 klo 10.44
really i never knew thanks!
Apex  [tekijä] 27.5.2017 klo 12.43
@ForwardPortal: Bluemod isn't available anymore, but I believe the paint gun is included in BeeMOD now.
Medvedev 27.5.2017 klo 10.15
btw... how do you get bluemode?
Apex  [tekijä] 21.5.2017 klo 20.18
@thulium Games: Thanks! I don't feel the same way though. I feel that my map named 'Vaporization' is my best work so far. Try it out if you're looking for a much harder puzzle!

Apex  [tekijä] 27.4.2017 klo 9.08
I am running BEEmod 2.4, pr 24. I also solved the issue with it not rendering chambers when clicking 'build and play' in the editor.
Matt 26.4.2017 klo 15.20
Well what kind of version do you have.
Apex  [tekijä] 25.4.2017 klo 20.17
which version of beemod do you have? first, go into the hammer editor, if you have it installed. under the entity list, search for weapon_paintgun, so something along the lines of that name. if nothing with the name 'paint gun' exists, then your version of bee does not include the paint gun.

if you DID find the paint gun, just look over your icons in bee really closely. it's not uncommon for items to have blank white or missing thumbnails. It may also have an icon from another item, such as a pedestal button, even though it is not a pedestal button. Mouse over all the areas available and read the name of the item at the bottom left of the window. you can also right-click to read a description of the item.

you can grab beemod 2.4 pr24 and newer from Github. [github.com]
Matt 25.4.2017 klo 13.04
I have the BEEmod but I dont know how to get the paint gun.
Matt 25.4.2017 klo 12.58
Ok thanks for the information.
Apex  [tekijä] 25.4.2017 klo 7.29
@TheProGamer: Bluemod is no longer available, but the paint gun from Bluemod is included in BEEmod. You can find Beemod at https://github.com/BEEmod . It's a great mod that allows you to modify the in-game level editor with super simple drag-and-drop functionality.

I've had a bit of trouble with it recently though, as it seems to entirely break the Portal 2 level editor. Portal 2 will now not 'build and play' any maps, whatsoever, even empty ones. Use it at your own risk, or download the older BEE 1.2, which doens't seem to have any problems.
Matt 24.4.2017 klo 15.28
How do you get the BlueMod.
Apex  [tekijä] 22.3.2016 klo 22.02
there's a full tutorial on the website. there's also a download at thinkingwithportals.com! If you're still having trouble, there's tons on installation tutorials on YouTube, but I won't link to any of them directly. Steam user Radelite may be able to help you, as he developed a few mods that went into the extended editor.
SimpleeEJ 22.3.2016 klo 15.30
forget it no offence but it is not easy to dowload I have been trying for an hour......
SimpleeEJ 22.3.2016 klo 15.27
I'm confused the version that you tiped in the comments is not the one it takes me to. :(
SimpleeEJ 22.3.2016 klo 14.55
Ok I got the manual version of it.So do I just enter the game now or do I do something to activate it?
Apex  [tekijä] 21.3.2016 klo 9.12
@eli101gamer: In the thumbnail? That's an editor mod known as Ben and August's Extended Editor, or "Bee" mod for short. Don't worry, it's super easy to install, and it adds all kinds of unique functionality, such as the paint gun featured in this level! You can find the mod by clicking here. [portal2backstock.com]

You can even use bee mod assets in the more advanced Hammer Editor for Source Engine if you're thinking about mapmaking!
SimpleeEJ 20.3.2016 klo 17.09
How do you get those orange and green boxes? i'm new and don't know how!
Apex  [tekijä] 18.12.2015 klo 17.05
Just click 'subscribe.' That will automaticly download this map to your game when you enter the 'play single player levels.' that's Main Menu -> Custom levels -> play single player levels)

Simply click on the map you want to play, or click 'browse workshop' to download more maps!
starlight 6.12.2015 klo 16.19

Apex  [tekijä] 13.9.2014 klo 9.10
@Uglee: Everything is intentional! Yes, this is one way to solve the test. It creates a little shortcut when you catch it, but you have to work harder than normal to get it out of the fizzly area as you can't just portal out like normal!
Uglee 10.9.2014 klo 12.02
I caught the first flying cube in the air by running from the button to the fizzler Is this an intended solution?
Apex  [tekijä] 29.8.2014 klo 14.42
Please message Radelite about any BlueMod issues you have. He's the one who developed it (or one of the many :P), I'm sure he'd be happy to help! I don't use BeeMod 2 so I couldn't help you if I tried. :P
A_Mustachioed_Yoshi 24.8.2014 klo 16.25
and... got the bluemod and beemod version 2 installed... but... i can't seem to get the paint gun when i try to make a portal 2 map
A_Mustachioed_Yoshi 24.8.2014 klo 12.11
i haven't tried this map yet... but... i have to say... i have seen this in a video... and from what i seen... it is a very good map... I've actually been thinking of making a co-op map soon...
Apex  [tekijä] 1.7.2014 klo 6.37
@TristanBomb: Read a little on the pages, and see which version you prefer. Many people prefer BEEmod version 2 as you can completely overhaul the PTI inventory tab. You can even make entirely new objects/elements and just drag/drop them into your PTI inventory!
Apex  [tekijä] 1.7.2014 klo 6.35
@TristanBomb: To use the BlueMod (That's the paint gun, it's called BlueMod), first install BEEmod, either version 1 or 2. (I use version 1 as version 2 won't install on Windows XP correctly). Here is the link to version 1: http://portal2backstock.com/bee/ It runs automatically and installs everything in about a second! After version 1 is installed, then head over to this page http://forums.thinkingwithportals.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=2812 (this is BlueMod version 2, it's compatible with BEEmod version 1) and just install the file it provides you with. Alternetively, you could download BEEmod version 2 http://portal2backstock.com/bee2/

Alternatively, you could install BEEmod version 2, http://portal2backstock.com/bee2/ and then install BlueMod version 1 after that. http://forums.thinkingwithportals.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=2809

Can you release a tutorial to actually add this into your own maps? This is really cool and allowing others to create puzzles based on this would be awesome.
Lowvision 29.6.2014 klo 11.15
wonderful map so many things i can say about this but "bad" or "unoriginal" is most definitly not one of them
BUG 18.6.2014 klo 10.23

@TheUnholyBBQ: Ill recomend it to the Portal3 dev team!

If one hasn't heard of TAG, one isn't truly a gamer. ;)

This idea should be used in Portal 3! Awesome! It reminds me of Tag: The Power Of Paint, a freeware game where you spray cans of paint that either stick you to walls, speed you up, or make you bounce! It's the game that inspired Valve to use gels in Portal 2!

@SnikerCraft BEEmod! You can download BEEmod, or better yet, BEEmod2 for free! I would provide a link, but I lost it long ago. Simply google 'Portal 2 Bee mod'
ArgleBargle 27.10.2013 klo 20.50
Very fun! Most unique map I've played in a while.
Bayram 17.10.2013 klo 5.57
Nice, but I got confused in the last room. I exploded the turrets, but one of the four laser catchers still seemed to do nothing.
Darren 20.9.2013 klo 15.10
How did you get the trigger blocks and paint gun with the PETI?
