For some reason this only repairs damage caused by a grinder, doesn't regenerate at all when grid has sustained weapon damage. Also can you please explain what the storage block does, can't seem to get any functionality out of it

@Kreeg i dont have issues with the grids its when the regen engine its self gets hit it crashes my game

Build states are visual models, they shouldn't be capable of crashing the game as the game defaults to the base model itself.
Merging grids also shouldn't crash based on Build state models, nor on damage taken as Build states are not used when a block is damaged, they are exclusive to construction & disassemby.

i personaly did some testing so lemme give my findings adding more then one stacks the regeniration effect and for me it doseint work for sub grids unless its conected through merge blocks as well since for me it doseint have build states it crashes the game when damaged

After reading further through the comments i stumbled about 2 currious things you could clarify if you wouldn't mind. One being the use of more than one of these, having an additive effect on the repair speed. Is that (still) the case? The other one was about subgrids where if i am not mistaken you specualted it could handle subgrids but were not sure as you never tested it. Any more information on that?

Its a per grid singular check, however it would be altering the task lists of scripted welders as the blocks 'healed' or 'repaired' by this system while done at a single check across the grid, will mean those Welders have outdated instruction. So that interaction depending on volume of welders, can be a bit variable. As like before, you can modify the speed & everything else about it to make it better suited

Has anyone used this in combination with Nano Build and Repair System? That one i used for repairs, but it was rather slow a t that. Also not very server performant. Whats the effect of your blocks on multiplayer server performance?

Given there was only 1 set of Code, they're identical past the block size & blocks own HP, as they can not regenerate blocks that are too damaged.

My blocks will repair, but not completely if the block needs mats. Like a light armor block at 90% will repair up to 92%, but not 100% because it requires 2 steel plates. Is this a bug or wai?

The system never got updated, to use materials, so it repairs blocks above 50% damage state (If a block is damaged past a point, it won't regen it), for free past a constant energy drain

I believe it's because of interaction with some of my other mods (I use a lot of them) But the Hull Regen Block was causing an issue with moving away from it: Basically if I got more then about 500m away from my ship, or used a spectator cam to get the same distance, it would immediately crash the game. This issue went away as soon as the block was removed as well, and the problem grew more intense as the grid grew larger and heavier.

Loved the effect of this mod, though, and I suspect it's because of how many mods I use (like 40 or more) that this issue arose.

When inflicting damage from a weapon, the blocks do not want to recover, when you use a grinder, regeneration works well. Damaged by automatic, turret and blocks almost always do not recover, if you file a block with the grinder you shot at, then restoration begins.

Any chance for this mod having a really high energy usage? Seems extremely cheap for survival and just not balanced in any way. Or maybe components but I guess that already exists so maybe a different route

For those of you who asked "What is the regeneration storage for?" I have tested it and so far the regeneration storage only seems to assist the regeneration of the hull regeneration engine. Its use is to prevent any damage to the regeneration system itself.

I haven't done nor can I manage to fix something, that I have no idea about why it happens.
I have only done 1 single patch on this mod.
Just 1: Not a single thing in this, can force a constant steam update.
I am not a magician.
I would love to help if I could, But I have no idea what is going on there.

System can not repair blocks that were destroyed, Unless you happened to have another system, that would build them to 50%.

Hey, I have been having some serious issues with this mod despite my feedback, It has been causing my steam workshop to want to update constantly but at 0 bytes there's nothing for it to download (It stopped after unsubbing) And when attempting to load up a game it keeps stopping on this mod, I have changed the load order multiple times and started new worlds. I even verified my game files and I still keep getting this issue. If you have a solution to this please let me know, it's quite stubborn to get to load up and sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
