the mod is obsolete now, the base game has most of what this mod did, according to the modder

Was just reading through my mod list for 1.1 and saw that this mod is now obsolete. I remember when this mod was a significant performance boost back before release. I just wanted to say thank you for making such a helpful mod that has now run its course. Cheers!

@Naughty Angus its most likely one of your mods causing massive errors in the logs, which slows down the game. Could be wrong, but that's my experience

Can confirm: I was getting MASSIVE choppiness when I tried to move my camera around, and when I zoomed way back, the game slowed to a grind, consuming well over 1000 Mb of VM. After removing this at Startup Impact, the chop isn't gone but it's significantly reduced and zooming way back sits under 900 Mb.

Unless your mods are taking over 20 minutes to load, I'd exercise caution as to whether or not you use this.

lol no more loading time but insane stutter if too many mods now <3 top

one thing i do need to test out sometime, is using some way to force unity to pick up the profile folder (working Ludeon folder with saves etc) from an ssd, and not the standard computer drive... i saw someone mention a way before but havent tried it... if it works on rimworld, it could also work on other unity games like conan exiles, and 7d2d etc

ive gone from that 400+ mods in about 15mins to about 500 in about 20mins so the mods and time to load (and time saved) still scale :)

for those looking into this. If you are running supper modded like me over 200 mods IT WILL INCREASE SPEED! I resorted to starting rimworld before i took a nap or going to sleep because my game took somewhere between an hour to two hours to start but with this it decreased my time to start to TEN MINUTES! this is a must have for super modded games!

Idk absolete or not but 450+mods loading in 9 mins for me on average pc with average ssd. 2 years ago it was taking like 20 min for 60+mods for me xD . Anyway thanks for the work you putted in this previously.

I've tested multiple times. Load time for 100+ mods I'm using is averaging 42 seconds, with or without RIMMSLoadUp. Is indeed obsolete, as the creator says. He wrote the code, maybe trust him on his word about it. (If you're unsure, try using a watch in addition to Startup Impact mod to see for yourself) I know, we all want the awesome mods. This mod is so awesome that it became core code, think about that!

Wow, they did a pretty good job, your mod only saves me a little over a second in my loads now. Used startup impact mod to tell, not sure how reliable it is tho.
