nice mod, at normal time you didn't even have time to build army that your units are already too old by new tech ! i even consider using x3
SalzStange 29 apr, 2020 @ 4:29
is there an mod like this? https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=871506772 ? cause this one here has not much to do with the original.
Willow Ufgood 19 mar, 2020 @ 23:22
any working 1.5 mods?
Supremax67  [skapare] 8 feb, 2020 @ 11:31
Worth noting that I haven't updated my mod due to their patches last fall 2019 breaking something that was already working. So this mod will stay up here if ever anyone wants to take it, update it and make it their own, but I would strongly recommend not using the original unchanged source code.

Looking to confirm this still works? According to the two comments below it should?
bdtgazo 14 jan, 2020 @ 8:12
Mod works, but my first era doesn't end until the modern age.
Xi-Mingze 7 jan, 2020 @ 3:42
This mod is still working, thx bro.
ronaldo_nr9 5 jan, 2020 @ 6:29

Nelly 18 dec, 2019 @ 2:06
@Supermax67 - This one seems to work still. I don't know if that helps at all? https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1775627628

Its just feels a bit too slow for me, so would love yours to work again!
Emperor Cheesius Secundus 5 dec, 2019 @ 19:44
imma guess this doesn't work as of now...
Twine 3 dec, 2019 @ 1:09
Are your mods current?
Avarela 3 sep, 2019 @ 2:53
Is this mod fixed?
MyEditorDan 29 jul, 2019 @ 2:59
sigh i wanted to play this
Supremax67  [skapare] 26 jul, 2019 @ 18:54
Sorry folks. No update yet. They introduced a new requirement to make mods, so until I can find the problem within the mod, I won't be able to update it. If you guys see a mod that was able to modify cost successfully, let me know. I'll see what changes are needed to make this work again.
VCJones 8 jul, 2019 @ 16:01
UpDate?
Tempest 1 jul, 2019 @ 16:45
I'm on GS with the latest patch and I've reached the final tech/civics by circa turn 200 on a "Standard" rule set so I assume it's not working anymore.
Raistlen 28 jun, 2019 @ 10:58
I have tested this by restarting the game a few times with/without the mod(and the x3, x5). It appears that none of them are having any affect on tech or code of laws.

Also for what it's worth, I do not have either DLC installed which could be a problem.
Mephala 22 jun, 2019 @ 18:36
From what I'm seeing, the tech times are properly slowed down, but the civics and historical moments are not.
Supremax67  [skapare] 22 jun, 2019 @ 12:14
Sorry all. I have been away for some time. Can I get a 100% confirmation that June messed up this mod and what was affected?
Charles 22 jun, 2019 @ 4:53
Oh my god... these minors updates only screw our game :(

If wasn't for the mods this game wouldn't be so fun

Some one, please, tell them to stop this crap of useless updates... they are getting more annoying than Microsoft whit the forced bullshit updates
ChuckGyver 21 jun, 2019 @ 9:48
LC 86,

I've a similar problem since the june patch, that it won't update the costs for certain eras ....
maybe it is because when the mod applies the updates and maybe could be overwritten later again ... and for me it is also the same with other mods that alters the costs for tech and civics
Mephala 21 jun, 2019 @ 5:58
Is it just me or is this not compatible with the newest version? Tech is slowed, sure, but civics and historic moments arent.
MakeLoveNotWar 28 maj, 2019 @ 18:50
is there a verson of this mod were it slows down the time in game, I mean seriosly if you focus on research you can end up having mechanized infantry and advanced tanks in 1020 AD
OrphieBaby 18 maj, 2019 @ 8:51
After reading most of the comments and your changelog, I have faith in this mod. Thanks Supremax67 for all the hard work and attention to detail in this mod! Can't wait to try it. ^^
[1CDO]Kristensen 16 maj, 2019 @ 9:25
a 1.25 or 1.5 version would be really cool, 2x feels a bit too slow while normal speed feels a bit too fast
Rooster Factory 11 maj, 2019 @ 10:19
Id love if you could make a 1.5 or 1.25 version for tech and civic. I used to use those versions on the other mod but the author no longer updates them.
Supremax67  [skapare] 1 maj, 2019 @ 18:38
@schlabbe As previous comments, the community need to agree on the divider for Golden Age so I can make it as a separate mod. Attempting to mod this one will just make people complain more since no one will agree on the golden age modifier. It needs to be a separate mod. Hoping the community can figure out what they want so I know what kind of a mod I building separately.
schlabbe 29 apr, 2019 @ 3:01
For example reserch time 5x and the ages only 2x or somthing else if this is realistic an possible
schlabbe 29 apr, 2019 @ 2:59
@supremax67 I hoped it´s like the reserch time is longer that´s great in your mod, but the ages are so long it´s too easy to reach a gold age. Mostly in the first age I´m scientifically in the middle age and evry time all players got a golden age.
Tatuzka 26 apr, 2019 @ 15:25
I agree. I'd love that if the counter for golden age was longer as it takes longer to research the techs for the era to change. :)
ChatNTR🔞 26 apr, 2019 @ 12:54
It's too easy to get into the golden age.:steamsad:
Tornado 25 apr, 2019 @ 8:07
Is there anyway to get different cost for eras? I feel like the first eras is good in their pace, but in atomic and info eras you just rush through them
Supremax67  [skapare] 24 apr, 2019 @ 11:32
@schlabbe Are you asking for a 1.5x or 1.25x or just the era being adjusted? If you need just the era shorter, that has to be a separate mod. If you can't find that mod, let me know and I'll design one, but you'll first need to tell me EXACTLY the adjustment you are looking for.
schlabbe 24 apr, 2019 @ 6:51
the ages are too long :(
Oddity 20 apr, 2019 @ 9:48
Hey, would you (or someone else) be able to do a mod which doubles the number (and halves the length) of each era (heroic/golden/normal/dark age), and so you would get normal length/frequency eras/ages in this mod but get double the number of eras/ages per game.
shalafichg 19 apr, 2019 @ 8:02
Try to use in a new game (x2 and x5) the game never change age... i disable the mod and work again.
Supremax67  [skapare] 18 apr, 2019 @ 19:40
@Spartan - That's correct, it says it on the mod itself. "Does not affect save files" So if you are not running this mod on your initial game, loading up the save file won't show the changes either. Adding changes to save files would make this mod exponential and stackable meaning every time you load it up, it would multiply by 2 until the game breaks.

New game, no issues. Save and resume later will keep the multiplier. At first, I thought you meant the mod suddenly broke.
Spartan 17 apr, 2019 @ 14:15
Im not using any other mod. Seems that you have to create a full new game with new options to get this mod work.
Supremax67  [skapare] 16 apr, 2019 @ 17:00
@Spartan -- The changes can be overwritten if you are using another mod that modifies variables. I could attempt to make it compatible with it if you can tell me which other mod you are using.
Spartan 14 apr, 2019 @ 19:10
A new game is needed? Dont see any change on my actual game ( im playing GS )

Btw is there a discount for old era research ?
Supremax67  [skapare] 13 apr, 2019 @ 22:49
@Tyso3 Yes, this one works with Vanilla
Stalker 13 apr, 2019 @ 12:26
thx for answer . I used to play alot with Take your Time 1.5x never notice anything wrong. Pls try if you have the time to =)
Tyso3 13 apr, 2019 @ 1:24
Does this work for vanilla? I have the expansions but play Mp with some who do not. Just want to make sure can use it with them
Supremax67  [skapare] 8 apr, 2019 @ 5:41
@astudslyfe It adjust how much CO2 is produced from consuming resources by the same factor you are using the mods for. (i.e. x2 & x3 = 6 times less CO2)
BKGamesPI 7 apr, 2019 @ 10:10
If already asked sorry, How does this mod effect climate change from your experiences using it?
Supremax67  [skapare] 6 apr, 2019 @ 16:29
@Stalker I could do a x1.5 and a x1.25 version if you wish, but I have to warn you that multiplying with fractions may have ill effects on the game. If you are okay with that, I'll create them.
Stalker 5 apr, 2019 @ 3:25
pls make x1.5 and 1.25 txh for great work you are the masterbulder
Supremax67  [skapare] 1 apr, 2019 @ 19:10
@Atritis A very small percentages of player is hating on the civics being longer. The issue is that every era has a limited number of unlocks you can perform due to tech restrictions and finite map space, some points only rewarded when you advance in the tech tree. If you need a separate mod to affect golden age scoring, I can certainly work on it, but if I am not mistaken, that mod should already exist on steam.

If you can't find a golden age mod, let me know. I'll put it on a to do list.

As for Take your time, you'll notice people reporting it broken since ERAs came out with R&F. Because author didn't adjust how long an era should last. Adjusting era scoring correctly would be impossible to do as some eras it would be too weak and others too hard. But if you really need that mod...
Atritis 1 apr, 2019 @ 12:55
Supermax, thank you for your help to us all. one more note to help you do even better - try to do a separate mode for eras. you know, having one mod for techs and civics is fine, because one is supposed to progress both trees in equal tempo, as reserching one gives eurekas/inspirations to conteprorary techs/civics.
Problem is, that when Era score is multiplied in equal proportion as civics and techs, you ll have too much time to work with. Effect is detrimental for game, as you earn too many points after reaching score needed for golden age. After that point, all historical moments you score work against you - increasing score needed for golden age in next era.
Previously I used "take your time" mod (that we all surely know well) with 8 or 10x increased tech + civics and only 1,5 magnifying for era. This could give you a notion what ratio of delay between techs/civics vs era points is needed to enjoy a game.
