I seem to be missing a tile for the governing skill
jonASS023 29 jul om 7:41
I have the newest version of the mod but for some reason i cant change the world icon of my settlement even after getting the skill for it, any info on this?
JAS 15 jul om 15:52
Does zone level have any impact on the tier of the shops you can set up? Should I wait to find a high tier zone to kit out, or does anywhere work?
UnderDoug 13 jun om 17:10
@skipplenanifram that's the gist as far as I can tell, but there's also an option to "build all" that will go through and one after the other, build all touching blueprints of, I think, the same type.
skipplenanifram 7 jun om 12:05
Wait so... You use the mouse and keyboard to create a "blueprint" (which doesn't allow anything like drag and drop creation of a line into a wall, and you actually have to click on each individual square to make that wall) and then after you have created the blueprint with the mouse you have to walk up to each individual square with your character and interact with it to make it real? This feels inefficient and I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

Does this work with the latest patch?
Moss 18 mei om 15:45

Tiareth 10 apr om 9:04
Does it make any difference where to found a settlement? For example, if I want a higher trader tier?
Mythrrinthael 8 mrt om 9:41
Huh, it WAS installed locally. Didn't even notice, no clue I'd ever done that, it's the ONLY mod that's there.

Thanks!
Armithaig  [auteur] 8 mrt om 7:10
Is it installed in your local mod folder maybe? Those take precedence over workshop subscriptions.

You should be able to see a relative location in the mod manager, if it says <...>/Mods/Hearthpyre and not <...>/steamapps/... then it's local.
Mythrrinthael 8 mrt om 6:44
@armithaig My first thought on getting the crashes was an outdated version, except I couldn't get an updated version even after unsubscribing/relaunching/closing/resubscribing.

Even just unsubscribing, that version of the mod is still in my modlist. Even deleting it manually from the workshop folder after unsubscribing and then launching the game didn't work, it still shows up as 2.1.0

How do I permanently delete your mod?
Armithaig  [auteur] 7 mrt om 21:34
@Mythrrinthael Your version (2.1.0) is very outdated, latest is 2.2.1

@Doctor No although that would be very cool, noted for future.

@benthegrape Some very commonly used fields were deprecated yeah, it's harmless but I'll zap 'em next update
Mythrrinthael 5 mrt om 12:11
Getting quite a lot of errors, can't even initialize the mod. The logs refer to outdated code a lot:

benthegrape 18 feb om 14:52
Not sure if it matters, but in the player log, there are 378 lines of MODWARN for hearthpyre, at line 71-450 and line 519-898 in the player log

im trying to wish all the shecmatic chips but their not coming up
andrewschaefer1237 27 jan om 6:05
hey is this ok to add to an already existing save? or will it need to be a new save
Spanky_H 18 jan om 7:00
Update - I think the issue is that sometimes you need to leave the tile and come back to get the power grids to update?

Regardless, managed to get it up and working!
viv 18 jan om 2:04
I love it, thank you very much. Being able to build a home and settlement makes the game even better. Using it on latest version and it works great.
Spanky_H 10 jan om 12:41
I'll mess around with it some more and see if I can get it working, thanks!
Klomn 9 jan om 22:03
@Spanky_H
I believe I got my rock tumbler tumbling. To be clear it needs to have power, either Hydraulic Power or Electric Power, This means it needs to be connected to a Hydraulic or Electric Power Grid. As such, it needs to be directly connected via pumps or wires to a Pumping Station (Solar or Fusion) or a Power Station (again Fusion or Solar). I've never worked with hydraulic power, but I can say that I got a rock tumbler working when I connected it via built wires to a Fusion Power Station. I do believe there is a way to implant wires into walls, but I could be mistaking that for CDDA.
Regardless, this mod only builds currently existing tiles into your Map, so as long as the tiles are the same they should be very much so as functional as the current existing tiles ingame. Feel free to message me with a screenshot of your town with the Tumbler and I will see if I can spot the issue.
Spanky_H 8 jan om 15:41
Is there some trick to getting the various power systems to actually *work*? Or are they all just decorations? One of my main drives for using this was to have my own rock tumbler, but I can't get it to tumble. ;-;
Senriam 29 dec 2024 om 17:23
For some reason I used proselytize on a legendary merchant to get them to come to my settlement and now they won’t talk to me?
Klomn 27 dec 2024 om 2:07
You can however, still obtain any chip via Nanocrayons! (as far as I am aware anyways)
Klomn 27 dec 2024 om 2:00
As of Today, December 27th, 2024, the Schematics Chips included in this mod are as follows:
Barathrumite: Found on Mafeo, for sale in Grit Gate.
Sultan: Found on Yla Haj, for sale in Ezra.
Palladium: Found on Bep, for sale in the Yd Freehold

Sheva: Found on Elder Barathrum, for sale in Grit Gate

There is however one more Schematic Chip, which is rather exceptionally rare, so this is likely the one you missed:
I am not sure how much to say given it's clearly secretive nature, but I do feel I can say it is tied to certain ending achievements .
whenwrašk 25 dec 2024 om 14:02
i hate to ask, but i've never been able to find all the schematic chips, only most of them. could we get a spoiler list of their locations?

I did get this mod working on my Steam Deck, but it involved making a custom controller config, and it is still a little finicky. I don't believe this would work with a regular controller as I had to use some of the Steam Deck's extra buttons. If the mod had built in controller mapping that would be great, but I have no idea how hard that would be to implement.
Claire 16 dec 2024 om 22:53
is the settlers thing optional? i just wanna build a house for myself.
Liminal Warmth 16 dec 2024 om 15:11
I play on Steamdeck... is this mod usable with a controller? Managing my own city sounds awesome but only if I can direct it with a controller!
Armithaig  [auteur] 14 dec 2024 om 22:31
Just xyloschemer should work (wishing matches by display name as well)
But the internal ID is HearthpyreXyloschemer, for a new game you can also start with one if you enable that setting in the Hearthpyre options category
skipplenanifram 14 dec 2024 om 21:37
What's the object ID so I can wish for a xyloschemer?
frog 12 dec 2024 om 9:36
How fucking cool. Thanky Armithaig!

New version 2.2.1 which updates all the music tracks to work again.

Also fixes an issue where your ability screen could get stuck while scheming, and some other minor things.
skizordrone 11 dec 2024 om 13:06
possible bug, there's a lot of music tracks that just dont play when i try to set them as my town theme. Of chrome, morning, and grave just to name a few. Lasurus, idyll, clam redacted and a few others still work tho
mzfantic 7 dec 2024 om 11:10
I found that unsubscribing and resubscribing to update the mod wasn't working. I had to go into the mods folder for the game located within
AppData\LocalLow\Freehold Games and delete the older version of the mod files manually before reinstalling on the workshop to get it to properly update. I hope this helps anyone else.
Emperor Thaloth 7 dec 2024 om 9:54
I love this mod, is it updated for 1.0? I can't find anything for it in-game, and using wish to summon xyloschemer and the tokens doesn't work.
Armithaig  [auteur] 5 dec 2024 om 14:35
That's an old version, steam's pretty bad with updates. Try un/resubscribing to the mod.
blackchakram 5 dec 2024 om 14:26
Getting the following error when I attempt to enable the mod

I was about to mention it breaking in 1.0, but it seems you beat me to it! I commend and appreciate your dedication to making this excellent and irreplaceable mod available to all, even when the game's complete update released mere hours ago :D

Hearthpyre's been updated to 2.2.0 for Qud's release!

This includes two new schematic chips of various buildable furniture.
You can now also flip the tiles of objects in paint mode.
bird of hey 25 okt 2024 om 13:44
Any chance this is steam deck friendly?
⚡Judge Zed⚡ 24 okt 2024 om 7:45
You a legend, thanks for the all the updates!
Logical123 24 okt 2024 om 6:27
Small bug, most likely unfixable, but it should be noted.

If you attempt to use the xyloschemer while playing on the Steam Deck *and* while you are close to hostiles, the game will be Softlocked. It didn't seem to register any of the inputs that were mapped to the spacebar.

Are there any possibilities to change the music in my settlement?
AussieWarGod 4 sep 2024 om 23:15
Are there any plans to add machinery like the rock tumbler to the blueprints list?
