Thank you for this mod. Fog of War clearing always bothered me in Don't Starve, especially when you can actually see the coastline, but the radius is too small to reveal it.

The best mod ever. Map revealing is kinda cheating imho, but same reveal range as DST has is needed! It has to be like this! Thanks!

i just wasted a ton of time. so the reason i wanted to do the math is that i notes how dont starve together and don't starve differ in map reveal, don't starve takes from your charitor to the top of the screen and in don't starve together its the charitor to the corner of the screen. so if we are talking about radius you just use pagathorium theorem. however since the screen is not a square i used monitor resolution for my math (witch my resolution is 1920 x 1080)....witch if i did it correctly comes out to a 2.03x multiplier.... witch is close to as 2.0x multiplier.

Then you should check the farseer.lua there is a bonus and a multiplier set. Additional I don't know what's the start radius in comparison to dst. Maybe it's easier to compare these files in both versions.

yeah, but what i mean is the exact radius. as in how is that multiplier being calculated. since i want to do the math so its exactly dst

It is a bonus value I add like the pirat hat. The value works as a multiplier so 1 is 100% and eg 5 is 500% more.

what is the math that you are using to calculate the reveal radius?

I have no idea why this happens. with mod release it works fine and there are no differences between the farseer component. mybe it broke because of the many changes/bugfixes in the minimap ..

i am mostly curious how to fix it. I tried myself with no success. Do you have alrady idea how could it be fixed? Anyway thanks for your effort.

Hm your right. I checked in hamlet world with 50% and it seems to be like 100%. Are you going to use the option; should it be fixed or removed?

Works fine thanks, the only problem i have is if i choose under 100%. The options below it (75% and 50%) don't seem to take effect. (playing rog world with ham compatibiity)

The 100% setting is the game default radius. the 50% is just for more challenging if you like to.

I'm kinda confused, if you were playing normally without this mod installed, would your vision radius be like the 50% setting or the 100% setting?

i'm trying to replay the game all legit but i think i'll give this a pass since i'm also a perfectionist when it comes to exploring the map and it doesn't really add any gameplay value to run around and 100% the map.

I think the Map should at least reveal what i'm able to see on my desktop. But the game goes with the top to bottom radius. Soo this mod helps a lot

perfect mod for what i was looking for. When i started playing DS i felt super weird since i was used to the radius reveal from DST(if you are here for the same reason i think 250% is the closest config). Thanks for the mod :)))
