the other way is using a merging block so you dont need the grinder but then the merging block is left on the gate BP but then you could use that merging block to be able to pick up the gate with a ship

you could always update the 2 BPs so you dont need to redo it

great idea and design but just a couple of issue every nice work all the same

the issue I sm seeing is 1 wouldn't you need to go back in every time to build the block you just grinded or add it to the gate BP and 2 the BP would be made as a Station and would then need to be converted after grinding the block out a fix for that would be to have a small grid landing gear mounted to roof and have a small reactor on that then the projector and have a conveyor system from reactor to the room your in so you can put uranium in as needed and you can also have a button to be able to turn the reactor on and off as you need it or the projector
