Advice: dont let the russians reach the ruins! send your tanks and armors through the main roads and make a defense line in front of the bombed city. If your soldiers broke, then make a defense line quickly in the tree line with the remaining troops

Yes, just like O@k said the tanks seem to be stuck in the middle of the city which made them and easy target for the Heavy Artillery
