Ghouls need to be improved!:steamsad:
StrikeStrife 26. okt. 2018 kl. 13:54
imo ghouls either need to be a little more powerful or the conversion rate increase or able to convert others and not just barbs.

If possible i want to change the Traits/Ability of Lich King: instead of chance to join of bararic units...why not, lets say "15% chance DEFEATED enemies joins the Scourge" coz you know..undead thiniges, ressurection, necromacy :D also atleast add some ability of the ghoul like "33% bonus to wounded units"
friend cube #1 5. nov. 2015 kl. 19:25
What if instead of the ghoul Arthas gets the necromancer which replaces the inquisitor and any unit killed adjacent to the necromancer has a small chance of joining your side except slightly weaker in some way like -1 movement or -10% combat strength.

friend cube #1 3. aug. 2015 kl. 20:07
I started a game with this installed, late game all the people's of azeroth melted into three super-factions: Me (Garrosh), Lich king and the Forsaken... Best. Xcom war. EVER!
Sheep Sheepington 31. juli 2015 kl. 18:38
Is the ghoul conversion a less than 100% probability? (not the UA barb camp convert)
If so, that needs to be shown
Sheep Sheepington 31. juli 2015 kl. 18:36
The ghould does not seem to function. It does not convert units when killed. The UA works fine, though.
ChaffyExpert 19. juni 2015 kl. 19:16
id think the ghoul would be a medieval unit, not ancient. considering the setting.
Sin 10. maj 2015 kl. 22:18
Is the author still working on this? Id love to see this finished....
Vexov 21. mar. 2015 kl. 16:41
75% to raise a barb as a Ghoul which has 8 strength?, op to me. I would just farm a barb camp as they pop every 3 turns and send the endless wave of Ghouls to enemies. Would be more balanced if it was more like 20% chance to raise a Ghoul with 6 strength.

It kind of all just early game too. It might be better if they got unit maintenance reduced by like 50% or culture from every kill.

Maybe getting faith from kills, it could be as if they're gathering flesh, souls, magic. You can build units with faith, Ghouls, Aboms, Deathknights, Valk's.

It Dose not work for me
Lohken 3. feb. 2015 kl. 14:53

Spagheetos 29. juli 2014 kl. 16:01
does this require any expansions?
snowdawn 15. juli 2014 kl. 7:21
Hi Bam Snow I played your other warcraft civs before in Gods and Kings they were great.
Is this Scourge Civ compatible with BNW? Thank you.
iStove Jebs 10. juli 2014 kl. 12:14
Will there ever be an update with new skins for units? I think that would be awesome to add. Orc Warriors and undead Ghouls.
Nicheman 5. juli 2014 kl. 16:38
And to actual see the ghouls, R.E.D. is proof it can be done.
Nicheman 5. juli 2014 kl. 16:35
Have you thought of a resink mod for the scourge? I would think it would look better if we had skeletal archers and rotted catapults and stuff.
Hotdog 28. maj 2014 kl. 0:07
I cant seem to be able to start a game with any of the Civs of Azeroth mods, any suggestions? It just crashes every time
Demon Samurai 16. maj 2014 kl. 21:21
When can we expect the Forsaken
tolaburke 4. maj 2014 kl. 23:11
Reword the civ ability. If it acts like Bismark, state it. The impression given is that killing any Barb converts it. Which would be fitting, but I disgress.

Ghoul isn't converting units. At least not Barbs. It could just be bad luck, but unlike Prize Ships(As a for-instance) it's not showing a capture chance. Something to think about.
Pictochat 22. mar. 2014 kl. 0:36
Don't work for me, and it doesn't even show up on my civilization selection page. Any help?
Sheep Sheepington 19. feb. 2014 kl. 17:08
What is it that the ghouls do, other than be trainable in later eras and not able to be upgraded?
Sheep Sheepington 22. jan. 2014 kl. 17:57
But, I have noticed that my units do not convert units they slay.
Sheep Sheepington 22. jan. 2014 kl. 17:41
Appears in my civ list. Also, although not sure how to make this work, having the advisors be members of the Scourge would be interesting.

helstyr 20. okt. 2013 kl. 12:58

Morbidtooth 1. okt. 2013 kl. 11:55
@Rufusthehound After you sub to the mod open your game start it up and at the main menu click mods agree to the warning thing then take a look at the mods instaled clicking them if their green bubble isn't highlighted once satisfied say ok and dont go back! go to single player and enjoy, going back to the main menu will sometimes cause the mods to not work!
RufusTheHound 28. sep. 2013 kl. 15:06
Umm how do you install mods? cos this looks awesome but i cant figure out how to make it work... (P.S. i no u hav 2 use th suscribe buttton...)
Sir Kibbles 21. sep. 2013 kl. 21:44
Ooooh, another idea!

Replace Tile Improvment: Farm with Plague Land.
Does everything a farm does, but can't be pillaged.
Sir Kibbles 21. sep. 2013 kl. 20:40
If I can add my suggestions/ideas.

At first I wanted Death Knights, but the idea of forming armies of weak units, using them to make more weak units, and then promoting them is much better for the Scourge.
A problem I ran into was my Ghoul upgraded to a Spearman via Ruins. And so lost it's ability to convert barbarians. I'm no modder, but perhaps making the ghouls ability a promotion so it carries on to upgraded units. This would also work with the overall idea of the ghoul. To create armies of weaker units and upgrading them.
I like the Necropolis.
Keep the 'Death to the living' and add a little extra, Tundra and snow should give +1 production and +1 food so they can effectivly settle in heavy snow lands.
Hobocop 17. sep. 2013 kl. 14:55
the scourge remind me alot of necrons from warhammer 40k
SendCity 15. sep. 2013 kl. 7:42
you need to add death knights
they are the heart of the scourge
Peng 11. sep. 2013 kl. 17:52
hi i am looking for someone to make different civilizations for different gaming youtubers. please tell me if you are or aren't interested
Bamington  [ophavsmand] 26. aug. 2013 kl. 16:21
Alpod1000: They keep getting Ghouls as rewards for assimilating enemy units. I'm working on a fix for this. Wont see it for a little while.

Venser's Prodigy: We've got some interesting ideas for the Scourge, but we're just seeing what we're able to implement. We actually have tried the 'Combat Worker' approach for another Civ, and while it works fine for the player, the AI has no idea what's going on and will just use them as military units and never build improvements. So we're working on something else right now that we think people will like.
Venser's Prodigy 26. aug. 2013 kl. 10:37
Very creative, but i have a suggestion. Make the ghoul a worker replacement, they gathered in Warcraft 3, but give it a combat strength below standard infantry while keeping its promotion. Use different "ranks" of ghoul, from decaying to saronite (in WoTLK, Ice-Crown had ghouls with saronite spikes). This would give the scourge a unique mechanic, using workers as invaders, pillage the land to heal, raise the enemy, and then fix the improvements with the same unit.
Doug H. Rito 26. aug. 2013 kl. 9:04
I'm at turn 377 on a standard time game and me and the scourge are up to the modern era but I've noticed that he has a very large amount of ghouls, this means that 1 he can still make ghouls for whatever reason and 2 the AI really likes making ghouls which unbalances scourge AI because I can 1 shot the ghouls making them close to useless
Bamington  [ophavsmand] 25. aug. 2013 kl. 16:57
ISuckAtVideoGames: Firaxis are supposed to be putting out a patch later this year allowing modders to do custom music, so you will hopefully see that soon :)
John Nada 25. aug. 2013 kl. 8:56
It would be cool if you could set custom music for each of the civs, it would be cool for the Lich Kings music to be the icecrown zone music.
Hyragon 19. aug. 2013 kl. 6:01
thanks again
Bamington  [ophavsmand] 17. aug. 2013 kl. 16:05
Hyragon: The Ghoul in it's current form converts about 50% of the time instead of 100%, unfourtunately. We've fixed this in the new built but it's got some other issues that we haven't figured out yet. The Barbarian ability is as intended, it's basically a stronger version than Bismark.

We've got a big 'Scourge 2.0' patch that we're bugfixing, it should solve a lot of the issues people have with this Civ.
Hyragon 17. aug. 2013 kl. 12:28
You've done a GREAT job on all your mods and i enjoy your warcraft addition. but, i am just wondering if this is on purpose, the ghoul does not convert enemy units to the cause and your units only recruit barbarians when they conquer a camp (similiar to Bismark). You don't have to fix this though as it is still alright and balanced. Thanks for reading and good luck!
