Hi, first of all this mod is greater than great and a must have for all civ players. I do have a question though. Where can I find the modfolder for Mappa Mundi? I want to enable colonial names for European civs, but cant find the modfolder/file.

This is a great mod, thank you for your efforts. Here are my suggestions and observations: JFD Chile Mod requires significant name support especially for bays and deserts. Secondly, constant name updates would become far less necessary were there a way for individuals to edit them in game and create their own names or correct others.

Like someone else reported Kick 'Em Jenny has a bad character. Needs fixing. Otherwise this is a nice mod in theory.

The mod is broken with the September Update. The added names will show up, but for some reason you can't show/hide the yields (Y key or check box).

Just came across a volcano named Kick [X]em Jenny. If I had to guess, the bad symbol is supposed to be a ' so it would read Kick 'em Jenny. What an odd name, though. (edit: Kick 'em Jenny is a real undersea volcano) I wonder if your script scrapes the name wrong because of the ' the URL on wiki is /Kick_%27em_Jenny so I wonder if the %27 is screwing it up?

No worries - my script pulls a decent number of outright bad entries, which I want to remove completely. It also pulls a bunch of edge cases, where the feature is technically a valid entry, but the name may be confusing or might look bizarre given how randomly they are assigned. For example, a "Coastal Range" would be removed because it's likely that it would appear completely landlocked in-game.

Still others I just don't particularly like the name of, and the US Interior Highlands, while perhaps somewhat potentially confusing based on placement primarily just gets removed because I find the name far too boring and America already has plenty of other options.

@Plerion - that entry has been removed in v4. Also, visually overlapping place names is not something that has anything to do with this mod...it happens in regular GS as well, it just has to do with where the game decides to place each label - sometimes they overlap.

agreed on the name diversity. It's far more interesting to have a civilisation blossom on the waters of the eden river, instead of the thames every game because, guess what, you're england, so fuck you london will always be on the thames

It doesn't "need to be", that's just a difference in design philosophy. Unless one is playing in True Earth locations (where true names should be respected), I personally like the name diversity.

The comment about YnAmp maps issues is incorrect @Microwave Oven. Flooding does happen. Not sure what you mean by spawning volcanoes; but I have 8+ volcanoes on north/south american continents I am playing now (YnAmp TerraMap Giant, TSL, Custom Landmasses)

@BINARYGOD I think that's pretty much all modded maps for the time being. for YNAMP river flooding doesn't happen, and volcanoes don't spawn.

Based on what I have read, Fantastical Map Script is going to need several updates to be compatible with the more recent version of the game (possibly even if you turn off GS rules).

I am very much looking forward to that map mod being fully updated, but won;t use it till it is. Of course, if no one uses it s/he cant find all of the bugs (one person is a not a testing department :-P )

I have to commend your dedication to modded civs. I'm pretty sure some of those aren't even compatible with Rise and Fall XD
