It's just silly how they used Rippy's orchestration of AoE theme and made entirely new lost/win sounds but left this ugly midi music. With OST from Oblivion this game is complete. Thanks!

Just to give you another info:
I worked on it, but wasn't able to get a louder volume until now.
Therefore I did some other soundtracks first in the meantime to get my list mroe empty.
But I'll come back to it and try to make a louder version again later. :)

I started doing a skyrim one some weeks ago, but for I never really played that game (the intro/cart part killed all my motivation and so I decided to wait until there would be some cool mods available^^ - and then there were other things more important than playing the game... :( ), I'm not completelly sure about which songs to choose.

And lately I hadn't that much time for modding AoE. So there are some more mods that have to be finished.
Sadly I can't say when I'll have the skyrim soundtrack ready. But if no other publishes one in the meantime, I definatelly want to do so.

Really great job but could you upload Skyrim Soundtrack. It would be kinda cool when you would be playing Vikings or some raiding civs :P

As requested, I published a second Oblivion soundtracks replacement, that uses the oblivion menu theme for the AoE menu too and only contains a selection of calm, non combat titles for the soundtrack:

K, I'll do that, but anyways you should do this too.

As a workaround, name the menu theme of Oblivion to xopen.mp3 and copy it to the Sound\stream folder.
It then replaces the AoE menu music.

You can easily change that. I implemented each title as a seperate file. So you can change every single one if you want. It's only important there is no gap between the numbers, as AoE then would restart at the first title.

It's explaned in the description.

OK, seems the workaround is working.^^ So I think I'll be able to publish the shogun 2 soundtrack today.

Technically it's no problem, only thing is I get error 16 every try fur publishing a soundtrack beside Oblivion.^^ But a friend told me a workaround, I'll test it in a few hours. If that works, I'll try to get the soundtracks (shouldn't be a problem) and publish it.

Is it possible for you to get the music from Total War: Shogun 2's campaign? I'd do it myself if I knew where to look and what to do, but you seem like you know what you're doing.
