It is the same for us as well. After there is a bleed, you will keep bleeding and creating a trail even though you have stopped the bleed. In fact, it was still going on for over 30 min. But, if you exit the server and come back in, it stops.

usually when something doesnt work like it should its a mod conflict, i.e another mod overrides code that is used in the mod.

Same as dipmasterdeegz. Blood trail keep working even after applying a bandage.

seems bugged... when I install this the server has massive cpu usage spikes about every 10-15 minutes... very weird

Evening, I'm having a slight issue with this mod on my server. When someone gets cut, it shows a great blood trail, but the problem is, when you patch up your character is done bleeding, but the blood trail still shows as if theyre still bleeding. Is there a fix for this?

hi there... is it possible to bring in a blood trail for animals? that would be a nice option... just an idea for the hunting guys :)

@Munghard - First let me say thank you for the mods you have created, we use a few on our server and just love em.
The question I want to ask is, is it possible to reduce the bleed time?

@IAMspEeDex correct. BI's way to handle particles. in hindsight i could have made this using geometry to fix that problem but hey what can you do.

is it just me or is it normal that the higher you camera pitch is the more these particles fade?

does anyone have notice incompatibility with Base Furniture 2.0 Mod ?! When I use both together in the same server, after sometime the furniture disapear, no matter the lifetime of items in types.xml. Letmme know if someone has this issue and solution. Thx

I see from comments animals don't leave blood trails DARN!

not possible. was trying to do that like a year ago but there were modding restrictions.

Hey bud, not sure if you are still working on this mod or not but I was curious if you could make it so that animals such as bear, deer, boar wolves could leave a bleed trail as well? Thanks in advance for reading the post :)

having the same problem as newoldmate, tested this mod with 1.05 but character bleeds when actually not bleeding. is this intended? would like to see this fixed.

One Question Munghard is it allowed to pack it in to a Mod ? and its working well on the new DayZ Version.

Have you talked to the devs? Maybe they can pay you to just make this in to Vanilla DayZ. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be in there. It's a shame modders did it first anyways. Gj!

Hi, great mod, nice work! Just curious if its intended that you sometimes bleed even when not actually bleeding? Also, the blood is not visible from angles, i'm wondering if this is a specular map issue? It might be caused by a specular map thats the same as the diffuse map, so at certain angles it should only highlight edges and details, but its making the entire thing lighter and not visible. I'd be happy to look at the files for you and could fix it if its the issue? Cheers.

does not seem to work on latest update pf dayz, ive just installed this to our server and well i only tested it from a zombie attacking me but there is no blood drops on the ground.

maybe i need a player to shoot me but bleeding from a zombie attack it isnt working, maybe i need to also go into files and chnage something.

all i done is add to server and put it in start bat

could you make a separate mod that is exactly like this but the bleed trail only happens from bullet wounds? its pretty annoying to get smacked by a zombie and bleed for an hour, it would be awesome if it only happened when getting shot. just an idea I like and will use the mod either way
