While it's definitely a clever concept, the actual execution is far too janky
CoffeeCoder 6. juli 2023 kl. 11:01
interresting concept but doing it just got kinda annoying. Not anything hard to figure out, only hard to do.
How_Ducken 11. jan. 2023 kl. 1:26
Первоклассный взгляд на головоломки. Изумительная и стильная реализация. Восхитительно!

Wheatley made a fool out of me just because i couldn't point the reflective cube diagonally :(
SuperDerrick128 27. dec. 2022 kl. 18:11
The second part is so creative but its way too finicky to aline the reflective cube diagonally. :steamsad:

How to use noclip:
Make sure you have the Developer Console enabled;
( To enable:
Step 1: Go to settings
Step 2: Click on "Advanced settings"
Step 3: Check "Enable developer console")
To use noclip:
Step 1: Open the developer console with the ` key ( the key under esc )
Step 2: Type in "sv_cheats 1"
Step 3: Type in "noclip"
Now you can fly through walls.
To disable:
Step 1: Open up the developer console back up
Step 2: Type "noclip" again
Now its disabled.
Have fun skipping the incredibly difficult parts!

Very fun map. The rotating test chamber was a nice twist on the dual pit experiment dialogue, and posed an interesting challenge the second time solving this test.
CosmicAxolotl 9. dec. 2021 kl. 12:08
Genius!!!
diffov 5. dec. 2021 kl. 11:24
You Mad. how to go through all 6 parts, describe your impressions. I want to ask the question, how much time did you spend?
Jariner 19. okt. 2021 kl. 11:42
noclip is a command that makes you fly while going through any wall with ease.
rexamill226 30. juli 2021 kl. 18:57
I see people refer to something called: "noclip". What does that mean?
Avatar 21. juni 2021 kl. 20:25
Here is a similar test chamber, although its much easier to solve, but uses the same idea of solving the chamber twice, very well made.

For those who are asking about tilting the 3rd cube : you have to release the cube at an angle to the normal, for example if arrow towards exit is Y and arrow towards beacons is X (from the tractor beam as start) then you have to release the last (which forms the second last cube) in the puzzle in X,-Y direction if you make the portal on the tractor facing -X

Exceptionally well thought out puzzle, a bit tricky but the last walk to elevator was a bit long and boring. 9/10
Logana 10. mar. 2021 kl. 21:33
do you need a mod for this or something because all of the tests are extremely difficult to solve
Fridge 23. nov. 2020 kl. 1:04
Great idea, but the part with tilting the cubes the right way got extremely annoying because it was difficult to aim the last cube in the sequence.
pkScary 1. nov. 2020 kl. 19:01
Es muy excelente :p2orange:
Pnezyx 25. okt. 2020 kl. 15:46
It's fun, but incredibly difficult.

How do I launch this? I have Portal 2 so I should be able to run this, but I don't know how to run any of these workshop Portal 2 items
A05Polzar 14. aug. 2020 kl. 14:28
Such a good and clever idea, but my only complaint is the last cube. The rest is amazing though
cantfind.hunterrr 9. aug. 2020 kl. 0:04

LittleNinja 3. juni 2020 kl. 9:17

I had played this map a while ago and that tilted cube thing wasn't a problem but I guess I was just lucky, because this time it took 15 minutes to get right. Other than that, it's a cool map.
COMPANION❤CUBE 20. apr. 2020 kl. 11:29
the idea with last cube tilting is bad, it very annoying to put it in right direction and took a while to realise that, just a little pointy arrow and this would be much easier to solve
theotesch 25. mar. 2020 kl. 11:51
i dont know how to install
Azzlanoid 10. jan. 2020 kl. 12:13
7/10 nothing happened when I turned around and walked back when Wheatley told me to come back.

dude how did this come to your mind WTF
Vroooooom 5. juli 2019 kl. 4:08
ok i get now how to rotate them with the funnel
but im still gonna noclip trying to figure out how to place them in the funnel
Vroooooom 5. juli 2019 kl. 4:06
i would love to be able to just play these but i have NO IDEA HOW TO ROTATE THE CUBES
_galaxy 16. juni 2019 kl. 17:14
Can I just say how I love these types of absolutely disgusting solutions? I try a similiar thing on one of my maps called "In and Out", a thing similiar to both of our maps is taking element synergy to a whole next level.

This test was insane! I can only appreciate you making it easier by not dissolving cubes already in the correct position, which would have made me spent hours on this otherwise. The final part was really hard to execute even though I knew the solution though, took a lot of tries.

Also I would appreciate if you used the first chamber to introduce the concept of rotating the cubes inside the funnel which I didn't notice you could actually do until halfway figuring out the puzzle.

Puzzle aside.... this design is insane! The rotating chamber and everything.... wow!!!!! Jesus, even the offices windows which is totally an original thing added so much. This is one of my all time favorite times, I really enjoyed it! Please keep it up in the future!

MY GOD is this whole series hard! fun tho
NerdByDaylight 7. apr. 2019 kl. 5:27
A brilliant level! I've played all maps of your current collection.
presto668 6. apr. 2019 kl. 17:48
WAY too hard to get the last cube right. I gave up and noclipped out the door.
Expat 1. apr. 2019 kl. 22:49
Good fun, if a bit fiddly to place that last RC. Enjoyed it, hope the series will go on a long time! Thanks for creating.
Vanilla ✿ 29. mar. 2019 kl. 14:51
ok that was unexpected and very original
jasonlava 2. mar. 2019 kl. 17:55
Sometimes you just gotta know which way to point the cubes and just where to put the tractor beam to make that last cube aim through the relay to the cube that points towards the floor
joe98 26. feb. 2019 kl. 18:37
Second room: Cannot portal above the tractor beam.
.

The flipped test
is the best!
z3rosixx 25. feb. 2019 kl. 22:22
couldnt get the second cube to spin/face upwards...maybe just me, idk
quat 20. feb. 2019 kl. 13:23
Funny map idea but the laser cube that stays pressed up against the wall with the funnel would not stay in place or it would go with the wrong orientation. I gave up and noclipped through the exit door.

Also the whole thing got really framey by the ending, but I can't really blame you there since you're not really supposed to be able to build rotating test chambers in Source anyways lol.
Rubenjackson 19. feb. 2019 kl. 4:36
Look, I have patience with many puzzles, but in this one I finished. I do not know why you make the last puzzle so difficult. Because if a bucket falls, you've already screwed up. Thank you for making me waste my time on your camera.
KillerLex 17. feb. 2019 kl. 1:26
Wonderful map. But I was really confused when the test chamber turned over, :taloslol:

@Sven™

Everywhere is 60FPS for me, except for a few community maps, which is exceedingly rare for me. Those maps may not have some optimized areas or something. I'm no expert map maker, but I do know that Hammer has ways to optimize maps.

System specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
GeForce GTX 1050
Intel Xeon W3565 @ 3.2Ghz
12GB PC3-10600
240GB SATA II Solid State

No major bottlenecks.

I also decided to make some changes in the process of passing the test chamber. I understand that it is difficult to arrange all the cubes right the first time, and the cost of the error is high, which was disappointing. Therefore, I decided to simplify the process of passing. I created a system that detects whether cubes were placed correctly. Now, if you make a mistake, correctly placed cubes will not be destroyed when you press a button.

I will update the map with these changes tomorrow. And also I will publish the second part tomorrow. Thanks for attention:p2wheatley:

Hey. Thank you all for your comments, they were very important to me.

I would like to say that the idea of this map was to create a test that could completely rotate around its axis, and depending on its position, the style of its completion would change. However, the implementation of this idea had technical difficulties, some of which I overlooked. I managed to reproduce the bug that @coatduck and @phyneas described, and I took steps to eliminate it, although I cannot guarantee the complete elimination of this problem.
Arkalis™ 10. feb. 2019 kl. 5:15
@wildgoosespeeder well i have a gtx 750 and i have constantly 150 fps idk what you have done to your computer but it doesent sound good if u have lags with gtx 1050
wildgoosespeeder 9. feb. 2019 kl. 12:43
This is something the game was not designed to do. Trying to get the cube rotated just right is a chore. Also, the glitch that MisterLambda is hinting at needs tending to! There is nothing more frustrating than knowing what to do and the game just doesn't want to cooperate. There's a reason many good map makers don't do laser relay hell "puzzles".

Also, I have a GTX 1050, and this map lags at the beginning and end! That should not be happening! Major work needs to be done.
MisterLambda 8. feb. 2019 kl. 11:08
Great creativity and nice visuals. However I did encounter a problem in the second part of the puzzle, I couldn't place the second redirection cube properly because something just kept pushing it off the platform. I even tried to manually place it in the correct position by noclipping but it just slowly slides of the platform like there is a trigger push there or something. Thought I should let you know if you weren't aware already, though it seems no one else had this issue so idk.
