I'm not that good at it either. Download an application like gcfscape, extract the content of one of these VPK files (they are stored in <steam folder>/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left 4 dead 2/addons/workshop and use notepad to view the scripts. You should soon get a feel for how the engine handles scripting.

I prefer fighting normal infected rather than special. (sniping them of any kind is so much fun). Thanks for the recomendation though. Im currently working on a finale type mod, and thinking your mod may fit well with the design, its a holdout through the waves kind of mod.

There's one called Lone Gunman that allows you to fight just specials, the weapons are limited to the magnum pistol however.

Good idea for a mod, too bad you cant find some way to just make it possible to solo fight the special infected. I dont think you should have had to make a mod like this, it should have been a optional feature in the orginal game. Thank God for mods.
