@Lord-Ahuitzol the armor wont show in regular armor benches. i found that there's armor benches with "Vanilla" in the name for stuff like this. e.g., "Heavy Armor Bench (Vanilla)" but im pretty sure this is something from UWE. i'm not sure of other ways to craft the armor..

I've already researched the armor but the option to build it doesn't appear.

its midgame armor dude, not too hard, just buy 1 innovative armor design for 10k cat and then 2 science books with the stuff you would already have to make the armor

but still it looks awesome no wonder its difficult to get

how about in the holy sword start you have this armor that you got from your old faction boss.
but like its not a second start it is the original one just modded with this armor, maybe the lore can be it gave your guy the purpose and courage to steal the sword (even though all his stats are 0)
also its the same van version therefore i can use the holy sword replacer mod on top of this mod

Why do you get the rusted variant after the orange one? It is worse in every metric.

@taevarth the research shows up after you reached a high enough level on the tech research from the core catalog.

love the armor. but i have 2 suggestions. 1:make the "untarnished" not look so worn out and make its colors a bit brighter. 2: make some gloves for the exposed hands.

@ジャッキー・ザ・トキ Tech Lv. 3 unlocks Plate Armour Crafting; research that to be able to build a Heavy Armour Smithy. That's where you build the armor after unlocking its blueprint (Tech Lv. 4, Gusoku Armor MKI and, optionally, MKII).

@Ritt Bjerregaard The easiest, most caveman way to do it would be to navigate to the mod folder, texture sub-folder and edit the texture file itself with a program like {LINK FJERNET}paint.net.

@ManticoreSoup By default, the armor can only be crafted and isn't sold anywhere.

i abosutely love the armor but i want to recolor it into black and white. but i cant figure out how to do it i´ve used the FCS to make a new color scheme and add it to the armor but that did´nt work and now i´m kind of lost as of how to do it. there´s clearly something i´m missing could it be because of the meshing? or maybe the textures?

would it be possible to have a start where the full armor set is given? it would be cool to have it, a miniscule amount of money and nothing else then the armor and 1 ration an medkit. it would make for an interesting start where you have to get money for weapons and other essentials yourself, but the Rusty armor is the only thing you have as it was inherited.

have the boots 0% cut resistance efficiency or 100%? because on reddit a guy sayed "If an efficiency is not listed (some heavier armor), it's assumed to be 100%."

Has anyone found a clipping fix for this armor and the nomad cape? they look dope as hell together except for the fact that the shoulders are cpointing slightly through the cape
