I was surprised when I made it that I couldn't find another mod like this, since it's fairly easy to do with the modding tools the game comes with.

I coincidentally just started playing again recently, but I dunno if I'll make any more mods.
It's not super difficult to do though, so I might at some point.

This is a god sent I can't believe I have never found this mod in so many years, I know it's been a long time but any chances for additional storage for crossbow parts?

The problem is retated to the game-AI. It typically checks for a job and if it can't be done, it check for the next one in the list. But it can bug out for all stations with "selectable" recipes. If the character needs to take something out, it checks for a storage. If there is nothing to put it in, the character will bug out and nothing will happen. For some reason it gets a positive response for "can be used" but the actual step "empty input/output" can't be done and therefore it halts at that point.

i have this problem too but i don't use this mod, was just passing by checking it out.
I think it's a new vanilla bug and it happens on cooking stoves too.

Are you having one character do everything? It's been a while since I played, but I recall the AI being kinda buggy when only having one character working at multiple robotics tables.

I suggest having multiple characters working on different parts.

Not sure if i'm doing something wrong, but i have multiple robotics tables, one to make each part, and once the chest is full for a particular part, the character i have assigned to make the parts doesn't move on to the next machine, just gets stuck trying to keep making parts on the first one, but can't since the storage is full
