Well, it's not crazy overpowered when you factor in the possibility of Domination being dispelled.

For one, Domination can be dispelled in the various ways that Mind Control can be dispelled. Namely, caster is killed, disoriented, leaves the battle, or placed in Stasis.

For two, people play modded campaigns that add ways for enemies to dispel Domination. Such as enemies having Solace and whatnot.

The correct term for Domination's duration is not "permanent", but "Until dispelled."

If possible, could you add something to the .ini that lets me control multiple aliens at the same time?

Usual troubleshooting guide. Flush your INI config files in My Documents, restart game (might take 2 relaunches, sometimes the first one crashes).

Check that you do not have ANY mods that have X2AmbientNarrativeCriteria in them (do a text search in your 268500 folder). These mods will silently break your game.

Unsub/resub from this. Ensure you don't have a mod that also modifies Domination (you can also do a text search with 'Domination' (apostrophes included). If you find more than my mod, chances are something is tweaking the template also.

If you have a load order mod (like Alternative Launcher), ensure this one is loaded last and see if it fixes it.

Hi again, not much going on. lol.

Mods made in WOTC are WOTC marked. You can most probably use it in the base game, but youll get a warning.

Can you provide more details? I havent gotten any other reports for that kind of issue. Also, you don't have "a" mind control, it's unlimited with this. If you see charges, the mod is not installed properly.

when the cooldown expires and you still have a mind control it wont allow you to mind control a new alien.

I dont have the strength to overhaul Cust All Abilities for WOTC. It's just so massive, and back then i didnt code as well as now so it probably looks terrible.

I would love to see a clean mod from you that removed all charges and put all skills on configurable cooldowns. Some mods hit some skills, but leave others alone.

Something like the breadth covered by Customize All Abilities would be incredible.

Anyway, thank you for this. I've been waiting for this to come.

This is excellent.

Is there an .ini where I could edit the ability's description so that it's consistent with its new behavior? Despite the fact it's no longer based on charges it still says that it is.

Here's a crazy idea, give all advent/aliens soldiers return fire.. because reasons? Always thought it would be cool to see a pseudo phoenix point return fire system in xcom, that and more difficulty mods are always welcome to balance out the more power creep ones.

I would not mod another mod, but i would mod something specific if requested if it's popular enough. This one is a gigantic hit already, so it was probably requested a lot. Instead of updating my older mods which would take hours i made this one quick and dirty. If you have another specific idea i can probably make a mod for it.

Would adore more of this for various charge-only abilities, including those of other classes/mods, since my game is modded such that the encounters tend to be longer, harder, and involve more enemies. Thank you very much!
