can someone point me in the direction of how to install this mod pack correctly ?
As it stands now, if i only have this pack in load order, i get crash to desktop if i save or quit game.
im just using the steam subscribe button.

is this compatible with the MM 9.0? I'm curious, because both this and that would turn my mod list into like, "2-4" mods in the mod list.

In process of getting a new load order on my new pc. This mod is a splendid foundation piece for my playing style. Still finding what will play nicely with what, and enjoying the little differences that I stumble across here and there. Now if I can just leave the mods alone and play a game for a few days I can see what is hiding further down the line. Thank you WR, and all those who contributed. GJ.

This problem is NOT caused by my mod or anyone else's! This problem is caused by not installing mods correctly. Please look up the correct procedure for installing mods.

crashes my game :( i even disabled everything except this mod, did a fresh start and when I go to quit it crashes.

You're welcome. Also, I FINALLY figured out how to create the flatten terrain tool, and it's been added to the pack. It may be super cheaty, but sometimes you just gotta remove that one, bad tile.

Guess who's back! After being busy with real life stuff and modding another game, I'm now going through my to-do list for Banished.

More Hard Starts has just received an update, and I might do one for Tighter Roads. It depends on how some test go.

kylie2102 requested roads on hills. I'll admit it's a fantastic idea, but I looked at the code again, and I don't see how it can be possible.

Colored circles is possible, but it's something I've been struggling with. I'm not sure if it will go in the update. Time will tell.

Both of those are possible. I've been busy with other things, but it will go on the to-do list. I think someone made another suggestion on my More Hard Starts mod, and that's included in this, so that will also be part of the update whenever it gets made.

I really like this collection - so thank you for a great mod/s
Some suggestions to improve this further, Im not sure if this is possible but it cant hurt to put it out there.
- Change the colour of the circles based on what they signify - Red for Happiness, Blue for Unhappiness, Yellow for Gathering - or whatever colours you think
- Make roads go on hills (not mountains) like the farms.

Could you provide more info? How long is "a while," and what are trying to build?

Also, did you make sure you have enough resources and builders? Are people able to get to the site?

Is anyone have a problem where after a while, no one will build anymore? they will prepare the area but then ignore it site.

I don't plan on making any alternate versions anytime soon. However, you can always download some of the mods in the list. I know CC is already overwriting most of the pack.

got a working pack with CC and quite a few other mods together. looking good so far, just the toolbar is two lines now. could You remove the "time is money" mod to make it a single line again? Thanks!

Technically, this should work with CC or possibly RKEC, but the majority of Minor Mods will be overwritten. I would recommend using UI Mods instead. That has 0 conflicts with RKEC and will work better with CC. Basically, UI Mods is Minor Mods with only the UI changes.

Also, CC and RKEC have a lot of conflicts, so I would recommend using one or the other.

I misread a mod description, and it gave me a great idea for a new set of start conditions. I also noticed some inconsistencies and fixed them.

This should be the last update...

Unfortunately, that is easier typed than done. There are 130 entries in the resource file. However, you can always look up those mods. I have already listed which ones are in the workshop. The rest can be found at BanishedInfo (if it's still online). I think some are also at BlackLiquid.

I don't remember everything that mod does, but if you put it above my mod, then there shouldn't be any serious problems.

I FINALLY figured out why I couldn't get anything added to the toolbar, so a new update is here. It's the type of thing I originally wanted in the last update.

In short, there are now 7 new mods included; Banished UI: Maps, Banished UI: Professions, Busy Laborers, and More Climates. I also decided to include all Example mods except Building, aka Apiary. These will be the only resource adding mods in this collection.

By popular demand, the Pause and Play buttons are back! I never thought it would be such a requested feature, especially with everyone complaining that the toolbar is too big.

There is also a new Big Lake terrain type that comes in 4 versions.

Unless I figure out Yanderson's stuff, this will probably be the last update.

Most strategy and city builder games I've played don't have a pause or play button on the screen, and the few games that do have it combine the two together to save space. Plus, I think it's easier to just push the spacebar. Therefore, I removed both buttons to save space.

Unfortunately, it looks like the game simply does not allow that. For example, the Community Toolbar normally has no hotkey, but if I remove the Time Toolbar, then the Community Toolbar will become bound to a key. I guess 9 F keys is all we get for the main toolbar, even though I can see 12 F keys on my keyboard.

Maybe moving the time controls to the other side will cause them to receive hotkeys, but I haven't tried it yet. However, if it works, then 2 other toolbars will no doubt loose hotkeys.

That is strange. I never had problems with this mod or any of the "included" mods. Did you use this on a game already in progress? Did the problem happen in other games?

Also, I could do a 1 Year is 1 Year, but I prefer not to mess with it at the moment. I would need time to figure out the proper values and how to balance it. Plus, that section controls more stuff than you would expect. A mod changing food requirements would overwrite all aging changes.

On another note, I have become extreamly busy. Plus I have once again been sucked into that black hole called Skyrim. I was going to wait for more changes before updating this, but I think now is a great time. It has some changes that have been requested plus my new Priority Increased mod.

I also made big changes to mining. To put it in simple terms, I removed Flexible Mining and Safer Mines and Quarries and replaced them with Mountainless Mines. This is because I discovered Iron Mines require much more work than Quarries, so I was afraid I may have messed up the balance in the game.

Also, I plan to update the pictures at some point.

@RogueSeraph257: I have no idea what screwed up your game, but it was NOT my mod! If you actually look at it, then you will see that it makes NO changes to food Barn's storage, or citizens. Furthermore, I had no problems in my tests.

You need to look at all your mods and list the ones that change food, Barn storage, or citizen storage. That's where your problem has to be.

No other resources tasked for pickup, plenty of food sitting there. Folks dying from starvation. Really like this mod but gonna have to turn it off if my folks wont eat the food sitting in front of them.

That is intentional. Farmers let the laborers pick up the food, so fields are harvested faster ;)

If the laborers, or other available people, are not picking up the food, the your barns should be full.

I'm having an issue where crops are being harvested, but the bushels aren't being collected, they just sit in the field and not being added to storage, so the food doesn't register as being usable. I'm only using this mod.

I'm going to consider this when my current village dies from some weird series of events that lead to starvation/freezing to death. The Farmer to Villager ratio is a bit screwed up.

Unfortunately, Banished mods can't work like that. However, I could possibly upload the source code to Banished Info. Then anyone can edit or delete whatever part they want.

However, I might try to make an alternate version or just modify this instead. There are too many people trying to re-upload mods for no good reason.

is it possible to disable one of the mod options? Like what if i wanted to disable the day night cycles but leave everything else enabled? Thanks and awesome mod :steamhappy:

I know Skyrim can sometimes have stuff left over from removed mods. Try making Steam verify your banished files. Maybe that will fix things.

The only mod I have besides Minor Mods is the Debug mod but that's disabled and Minor Mods is enabled. Give me a few and I'll post a screenshot.

There are only two possibilities:
1. Mod is not enabled.
2. Mod is overwritten by another terrain mod.
