Thanks for the compliment @Shredder2025 ! I love mix and matching tennogen :-) -- If it looks good with Graxx, that is awesome! :-) I like using Graxx with prime or Poseidon with Prime on it personally

Just to clarify further in-case anyone is wondering:
For things like this that will move separately (have cloth physics, essentially), you need to submit them "straight out" so to speak, so that DE can rig them to move / sway / jiggle / bounce / whatever apart from the helmet with wind, gravity, or movement in game.

The way I have them positioned here is just one of the many ways they could lay on the frame, and I posed these myself. Gravity will have it's way with them in game, but they won't stick straight out like they did on the devstream.

In DE's defense, rigging takes time and I don't mind that they showed it like that at all! I'm just over-joyed that this got accepted! In game pictures when you see it up in the marketplace will be the most accurate to what you will get when standing still I'd assume! :-) Thanks for asking though! @D O O F!

I'm so glad that you guys like it! I tried really hard to push the "hydroid" tentacle concept as far as I could without breaking "tenno" style. It wasn't easy! This thing has been through quite a few iterations to say the least. I think may have grown a tentacle in real life in the process... LOL!

I really like the helmet but , karkinos ? how did you come up with that name , it mostly refers to cancer in my language (greek) and the zodiac after .... if you want to say crab , you would want to call the helmet Kavouras or kavouri

Yes, I just love the name Karkinos which is Greek for crab and the large carapace type head was inspired by the orb Vallis spiders, but it is admittedly pretty evenly split between Orb Vallis spiders, Predator, crabs, and squids as far as what I used for inspiration.

I have a small bit of trouble seeing the 'crab' in this. I get more of a squid/Tentacruel vibe, with a small dose of ME Prothean and Yujata/Predator- helmet and dreads and four eyes. Maybe I'm just looking at the head wrong... Either way, I still like it. Always happy to have more tentacle heads with Hydroid: it's part of why I like the default helmet if I'm not fashionframing as a pirate/ship-captain. If it gets in, I will buy it!

The metals are tintable and on the accent tint color (same as prime!) :-) @andymous87
@generaldurandal gotta crawl before I walk! Skin + helmet is a goal for the next one I do, but not this one. :-(

Also, thanks to everyone else for the kind criticism, or compliments! I’m stoked that people are getting a Predator vibe from it! (I wanted that, and my initial inspiration was Predator-ish!) - but then I got with Vulbjorn and we made it much larger and wanted to aim more toward a mix of Tenno / Orb Vallis spiders.

Stoked that the Predator vibe remains for some though! :-)

This looks absolutely wonderful. I'm worried DE will prefer to have the eyes taken out, given it makes it look a little too human.

if those accents are a tintable metallic this is definitely getting my money when put in. It sure has my vote

since i'm not going to spend 5.99$ on a helmet when I can spend 6.99$ on a helmet and skin,
but this one is pretty nice.
Please make a skin for it, i'd like to use it, but won't if it's just an alt helmet.
