Well, Coasty, I'm back driving one of your excellent scenarios! (It just had to be one of yours!) And what a scenario to start off with after being "denied" TS for three months! I have thoroughly enjoyed the last hour's driving. Mind you, I was a little rusty, especially with driving the BR155, but I completed the scenario successfully, so I am very content! Hi David, Great to see that you run this little series again! Indeed it helps if you run it twice to familiarise with the BR155...and once done the BR155 is a dream to drive and operate. So, MANY THANKS from my side once more that you give my creations a try and for providing feedback accordingly.
Regarding the huge freight yards: When you start to create a scenario the map is....empty, so yes, all you see around you has been placed during creation.
One advantage for the creator on THIS route is, that some consists which I have used in the yards are not the 3d-models, but the route offers 2d-images of consists with various length, which looks the same, especially if you use a mix of 2d-images (in the distance) and the 'real' 3d-models when you pass them quite close. In my opinion it looks realistic and it does not harm your FPS...
Hope you will enjoy parts 2 & 3 as well and I'm looking forward to hear from you again.

Hi Coasty! Well, I've caught up with you again in Northern Germany! Man, have I enjoyed this first of this little series??!! It is absolutely superb in SO many respects! I drove it on Saturday evening and just had to drive Part 1 all over again this evening!! I was concentrating so much on the driving during the first trip on Saturday evening that I thought I should drive it again this evening in a more relaxed fashion so that I could take in all the activity around me more fully! And I wasn't disappointed! Those freight yards are massive; it's great fun threading your way through them. Tell me, do you have to populate all the sidings with masses of freight trains and stock? Usually when you see such freight yards in "Quick Drive" they are virtually devoid of static stock. The yards in Part 1 look so full and so busy --- very realistic, I imagine. Hi Beppo, Danke für Dein Feedback. Die "Konstanz-Villingen"-Strecke ist mittlerweile regelmässig in SALE und ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. Auch die "Münster-Bremen"-Strecke, aber die ist noch relativ neu.... Egal, Hauptsache Dir wird nicht langweilig und die Szenarien haben ja kein Verfallsdatum :-)) Gruss, Coasty

Hallo. Natürlich :) Ich habe mir den West und Südwest Teil ebenfalls abonniert und bin schon den ersten Abschnitt bis Bonn gefahren! Es macht wirklich großen spaß, vor allem weil echt viel zu tun ist! Da wirds nicht langweilig! Ich freue mich schon Auf den Abschnitt Mannheim - Karlsruhe!

Die anderen Beiden Abschnitte kann ich leider nicht fahren, weil mir dazu aktuell noch die Strecken fehlen.^^

So. Die Hamburg - Hannover Serie habe ich nun abschließen können. Sehr schöne Szenarienserie, mit ordentlich Verkehr auf der Strecke und sogar der ein oder anderen Überraschung! :)

Ich glaube ich war stellenweise ein wenig langsam, so dass ich hier und da keinen Zwischenhalt hatte, aber auf jeden Fall glaube ich, dass ich die BR 155 jetzt im Güterbetrieb sicher beherrsche. :) Inklusive Sifa, PZB und LZB versteht sich.

Na klar. Ich weiß ja dass der TS gerne launisch ist. Und gute Szenarien sind es Wert, finde ich.

Ich kann die Funktion allerdings erst später testen. Ich melde mich aber. :)

Offenbar hatte ich da in der Tat einen kleinen Bedienungsfehler drin.

Wie dem auch sei. Wenn ich mir jetzt unter Standard -> Strecke die Szenarien anschaue, sind in der Tat alle Szenarien mit der BR 155 gelistet. :) Auch auf der Strecke Köln - Koblenz und Mannheim - Karlsruhe

Was ich getan habe: manuell die Steam Workshop Ordner gelöscht, Die lokalen Dateien auf Fehler überprüft.

Und das Spiel auf meine SSD gepackt. (wobei ich hier einfach nur Performance rausholen wollte. Hat hoffentlich nichts mit den Problemen zu tun^^)

Teil-2 meiner Antwort:
Zu Teil-1: Ich setze voraus, dass Du NICHT von einem gespeicherten Spielstand gestartet bist, sondern kpl. neu.
Sobald Du starten darfst (nachdem ein Regionalzug an Dir vorbeigefahren ist) fährst Du langsam durch Hamburg HBF und am Ende des Bahnsteigs sollte das Signal die Weiterfahrt erlauben. Parallel dazu verlässt auf Deiner rechten Seite auch ein Regionalzug den Hbf.
Wichtig ist, dass Du keines der 3 Szenarien von einem gespeicherten Spielstand startest, da es dann zu Problemen kommen kann, die ich nicht beeinflussen kann.

Die BR155 gab es vor Jahren mal als separates DLC - in der Zwischenzeit ist sie Teil der Köln-Koblenz Strecke.

Ich hoffe, das hilft. Eine Rückmeldung Deinerseits würde mich freuen.

Hi Beppo, zunächst vielen Dank das Du Dich meldest und die Probleme beschreibst, anstatt direkt aufzugeben.
Ich fange mit Teil-2 und 3 an: Alle DREI Szenarien sollten im TS unter "Fahren/Standard/Hamburg-Hannover" gelistet sein.
Ist dem NICHT so, dann hast Du hier zumindest bei 2+3 fehlerhafte Downloads erwischt.
Bitte mach folgendes:
1. beide Teile deabbonieren
2. TS-Cache löschen
3. TS beenden
4. beide Teile neu abbonieren
5. TS starten und prüfen, ob sie jetzt korrekt angezeigt werden.

Bei mir ist ebenfalls das Bild zu "Hamburg-Hannover" nicht sichtbar => das liegt am TS.

Alle 3 Teile erfordern die gleichen DLCs, dh wenn Teil-1 normal lädt, dann sollte es keine Probleme bei den anderen beiden Teilen geben.

(Steam Zeichenbegrenzung Juhu!)

2. Nun zum eigentlichen Problem: Die weiteren Szenarioteile 2 und 3 lassen sich für mich leider nicht spielen, da sie nicht in der Kombination BR 155 und Hamburg - Hanover auftauchen. (Ausserdem habe ich seit langem kein Vorschaubild für Hamburg - Hannover mehr im Ingame Menü, ist das normal?)

Ich verfüge über alle DLCs und bin im ingame Workshop auf das Problem gestoßen,
dass mir eine Dialogbox das gesamte Spiel einfriert:

"timedcheckforinstall: has no uninstalledsynceditems"

Laut Steam Diskussionen tritt das wohl bei fehlendem Inhalt auf, seit dem TS 2020 update.

Lediglich der Hinweis "BR 155 - retired" steht in den benötigten Inhalten im Ingame Workshop Menü. Was genau hat das zu bedeuten?

Hallo! Sehr schönes Szenario, mit hohem Anspruch. Ich habe mich seit langem mal wieder mit dem TS befasst und konnte dieses Szenario auch spielen.

Leider stellen sich ein paar Probleme ein:

1. Auf der Strecke selbst: Bei der Einfahrt in den Hamburger Hbf zeigt der Vorsignalwiederholer langsamfahrt am Bahnsteigbeginn, das Ausfahrtsignal allerdings halt.
Zunächst stand ich da sehr lange und war verwirrt. Insbesondere weil der ICE auf Gleis 13 ein Rangiersignal bekam.

In einem weiteren Versuch habe ich dieses Halt zeigende Signal testweise überfahren und konnte anschließend das Szenario Problemfrei fortsetzen.

Excellent scenario ! As are the whole series of 7 ( just finished them all). Some of the very best scenarios out there for TS.

Your use of AI and story telling is masterful . It's more like watching a film than playing a scenario.
In fact there are plenty film sequences at the beginning and sometimes at the end of each scenario.

I like your helpful hints on speeds etc. And the waiting "staff" at coupling points etc. . Unlike many ( including DTG Career scenarios), these are not "video game contests" in keeping to almost impossible timetables, they are pure entertainment and enjoyment !

I can't understand how you use so much AI and yet the scenarios run so smoothly, even on my old rig.
