Awesome video and great concept for a new lunchbox!

I want it to be a sandvitch reskin because that's the item everyone actually uses, but maybe it makes more sense as the stupid chocolate or steak since their effects match alcohol better.

Perhaps the drink could heal the Heavy like the Sandvich, but have the side effect of making him drunk after two minutes he drank it. It wouldn't stun the Heavy, but rather mess up his aim for one whole minute.

Teach me how to make player animations and I will. Heavy thinks the glass is delicious, though. OM NOM NOM. Custom player animations are a tough one, both to make and for Valve to implement. That's why I wanted to use the existing sandvich animations. If I ever revisit this item, though, the plan is to make better animations. I'll just have to teach myself how first, which isn't a priority of mine at the moment. Expect more items from me in the coming weeks and months. If this one doesn't tickle your fancy, maybe my others will. Cheers for the ratings, everyone - good and bad.

I'd like this to get in, but this would most definitely work much better with a new drinking custom animation. The Sandvich animation is pretty darn awkward, and Valve has stated that they will never make the animations for custom weapons. If you want it to get added, I suggest working on a new animation.

The liquid is jiggleboned, and it's essentially a sandvich replacement, using the existing sandvich animations, as in the trailer. I've not yet found a way to get the facial flexes to play in itemtest or sfm, so I'm not sure how they look while drinking. The audio in the trailer is just the scout's drinking noise, altered - altering the audio for an item isn't that big of a deal for Valve. Custom animations might work better, but I wanted to try my best to make a drink work with the existing animations. I haven't quite figured out how to make and package custom animations for the workshop yet, but if I ever update this item, that would be something I'd look into. The sandvich uses two models - one for when it's whole, and one for when it's bitten. This item would use that setup - full for before you drink, and empty for after, until it's recharged. So yes, it has a working drinking model. At least as close to one as I can get without custom player animations.
