When running a heavily modded game, I too get an issue where the 2D tab wont appear in the list of appearances. I have a premade empire with one of your packs, however I cant select the chosen empire it as the tab technically doesnt "exist" in the list

For information, it make the new race inselectable on the creation menu.
My game game is heavy modded but when activating only this one break the new species anyway. Hope that help=)

Theres a 2D Machine tab? I only see the 2D regular tab and the succubus portrait set (the one I wanted the most) is blank. All pictures in it are blank.

Well, I just checked and had a friend check and it seems to be working fine. (If it gives you a "Red " text just switch the appearance to something else and switch it back. Guess it sorta breaks when you disable the mod and re-enable it.)

That's a vanilla bug that still has not been fixed by PDX. There should be a patch thats fairly popular on this workshop that should fix all modded species upkeep issues
