The Energy Nexus, Mineral Purification Hubs, and the Food Processing Centers buildings have their old special resource upkeeps.

great mod!,right now is the only fix to the abuse of rare resource from the sector ai, so i can have all the planets i want without having to micro-manage them all; but i have one single problem, in the late game i can sell all those resource on the market and make tons of money, feel like cheating; i know that if i want balance i should stick to the vanilla, but i feel that without the ability to sell those resource it would be a great improvement without make the game too easy, if you could find a way would be perfect, anyway great work don't stop updating it.

The mod only works with buildings. The world ring segments are not buildings.

This mod has already been updated to 2.5.1. Your launcher shows an old version. Delete file mods_registry.json in folder Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris or move him to another place.

I think this mod is messing with a lot of stuff right now. I'm just playing a machine empire on version 2.2.5 where most upgraded buildings now (again?) require special resources for upkeep, energy grids and mineral hubs lose their additional district traits when upgraded, robot technicians don't produce the additional energy they should, and so on. Simply changing the version number wasn't enough to get this mod up to snuff it seems. Unfortunate - I really liked the changes (although I agree that the x10 multiplier to build costs is a bit excessive; x5 would be okay though).

It's for balance. 45 gases for example isn't too hard to get, so for getting rid of the monthly thing, it is still expensive.

This amount of resources is associated with a time benefit - the difference in resources pays off after 37.5 years at 100% of the price of buildings, 33.75 years at 90%, 30 years at 80%, and so on.Reducing the cost will lead to a deterioration in the balance (more precisely, those of its residuals that are)

Times 10 for kick off is somewhat of a challenge, but mostly only if you depend solely on convertion plants and/or mining. Once you get a resource unlocked you can buy it from the market, internal or galactic.
That said, perhaps x6-8 instead? Still something to not sneeze at but not as hard on either the clock or 'wallet'.

This mod will be useful to those who have not mastered the new economic model. Continuing to monitor multiple indicators is difficult.

I like the approach, but haven't played enough yet to confirm if x10 times is worse than the monthly (in terms of having the benefit of the building for as long as you can fund it vs. waiting potentially ages to save up x10 to construct just one building).
