This can be used in vanilla, the timing's on the earth like planet are for 46km up set the burn time for 6 mins and 6 seconds and it will deliver it 46.08km up, its worth noting the orientation is set that the laser is at the top, as in your not meant to connect to the planet via laser, your meant to connect via your space station via laser comms, and use the built in 50km range antenna to connect to the base below, set the brake time for 1 second for earth like, this required much trial and error to find as alas all the timings in comments didnt cut it for latest v.

However it is possible to change this, you just have to go on a ship to join your sat once its up there, manually take control via the remote controller and flip it 180 and pointing at the ground base, then you can use laser to connect to ground base and antenna to connect to space base as I have done, however the recover mode prob wont work when flipped so if you wish to use it you'll have to manually flip it back again, and it'll be difficult to manually flip it perfectly 180, however the design doesnt let you load canopies into 2 of the 12 parachutes in latest build, and not tested this anyhow.

Yeah, looking at the scripts, they're throwing errors. I think the scripting system has changed since this was created.

Isy's Solar Alignment has an updated version. Am I to assume that the Orbit one is O.I.S.'s Orbital Flight Computer? Is there anything I need to change in the script if I update that?
Rabblerouser 6. jan. 2024 kl. 21:48
One small problem with this is that the satellite itself obstructs line of sight an earth-based ground station... it'll launch fine, yeah. But it won't be able to connect to ground.
Manzero 1. juni 2022 kl. 18:45
Download speed mod guys
Manzero 1. juni 2022 kl. 18:44
The missions I have done with this since creation well played sir
Boone 21. maj 2022 kl. 9:58
Is there a chance you could assist in setting up just the satellite, and associated deployment code, as a bp? I think this would be perfect for a "printable" comms relay "buoy." Like have a comms ship fly from point to point printing the satellite and then deploy, push a button and it expands and tracks solar.
Kagee 24. feb. 2022 kl. 11:01
It worked! (I'm on earth)
Only the Burn-Time was 'a little' to long.
The Satellite anded up at 80km distance from launch
Kagee 24. feb. 2022 kl. 8:11
This looks epic!
I'll try it out!
HenriXVI 18. feb. 2022 kl. 8:34
Keeps crashing into my base, seems not to be working. I have everything setup, was there a update that changed something? I'm on mars
Sergeant Cheebs 22. juni 2021 kl. 20:20
Elon Musk wants to know your location
Emiricol4Rl 11. jan. 2021 kl. 14:38
The videos/pictures on this workshop page are amazing, and probably took hours to make. The mod itself is a masterpiece :) or it was when it still worked :(
mythicarcher 11. jan. 2021 kl. 9:34
I don't know that I will ever use this but man that was impressive!!! Like, Fav, and Sub from me! :winter2019happydog:
MegaScore 4. dec. 2020 kl. 14:22
Works 100% but takes about 4 to get the right timing
Quickshadow10m 23. juli 2020 kl. 11:10
Man this is old
Emiricol4Rl 15. juni 2020 kl. 22:13
Were you on an Earthlike planet? If so, how did you get it to work? It hasn't worked in a while for me :/
Toni Pepperoni 11. juni 2020 kl. 10:32
works well
Swat842® 4. maj 2020 kl. 14:24
Where is the Building for this an how can I controll it to
darryl 8. apr. 2020 kl. 16:52
wow what a great vid of your mod
Emiricol4Rl 24. mar. 2020 kl. 21:17
I would have paid money to watch that, if I had money! But no, this thing's programming is all messed up -- there have been a ton of game updates since this was updated. I'd love to see it made working again, though -- it was sooo cool!
Sgt.Random 24. mar. 2020 kl. 14:26
Third try it flew up to about 10km and then it fell out of the sky and kamikazied my base
Sgt.Random 24. mar. 2020 kl. 14:22
Second Try just flung it about 80km above the planet
Sgt.Random 24. mar. 2020 kl. 14:15
Whenever I launch it, it just falls out of the sky, even when I put a speed limit remover, what is wrong with this, hopefully it can be fixed, or maybe I'm just doing something wrong, help maybe?
Aether 20. jan. 2020 kl. 18:19
Any updates?

Also I feel this should have the burn times if there isn't a speed limit remover mod.
MrMilkshake 27. aug. 2019 kl. 13:42
Hello ! Love the sat but it seems to have issues after the update. Used to be able to put the burn time up, this is no longer the case. Just shows for delay now. Would be happy as all hell if you could see what you could do.
Puryfire 25. juli 2019 kl. 7:51
Absolutely great!!! I think I won't use it for myself... but the whole idea and implementation is perfect! Thump up!
AngelShadow9451 24. juli 2019 kl. 3:02
how would I set the timings to orbit at roughly 20Km from an Earthlike?
Tanus11 15. juni 2019 kl. 4:13
you might need to change the time for earth
i'll try figure it out
TheOneWhoGotAway 2. apr. 2019 kl. 16:21
Ship comes crashing down to Earth at 2.50km. Everything is set correctly and reactors are fueled.
Licidil 31. mar. 2019 kl. 0:05
Ok, in relation to my last comment, about not being able to launch, I think i've got it worked out now...
Licidil 30. mar. 2019 kl. 22:25
Love the idea of it, but every time I try launch it, it just crashes back into the planet...
JCataclisma 30. mar. 2019 kl. 19:11
AWESOME indeed!!!
Eddy The Liar 30. mar. 2019 kl. 13:05
Ok. This is awesome.
Sergeant Dingo 24. mar. 2019 kl. 22:12
how do you enable orbital mode ???
Pineapple Girl 24. mar. 2019 kl. 17:28
I think that this is super cool BUT you should make one for the Moon
2yysforu 24. mar. 2019 kl. 17:10
Has anyone got this to work in vanilla environment?
epflederer 23. mar. 2019 kl. 7:39
I agree with A.Wolfrick
Lord Damp Nut 20. mar. 2019 kl. 9:09
Great design. What script is it using for the solar panels?
RainRicardo 16. mar. 2019 kl. 21:38
it's work ,but ,need a speed mod
Zerofactor 15. mar. 2019 kl. 15:30
I feel like your demonstration video should have ended with a round of applause.
Si Cwan 14. mar. 2019 kl. 19:13
karelvacha1, you dont build it in space, you build it on the ground, and then launch it, you'll need new burn and break times unless you use the speedmod. for the earth like world you'll need a burn time of about 4min and 35sec, and a break time of about 1 second.
𝓢𝓪𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲 14. mar. 2019 kl. 12:22
i build it and it drop down
Contagano 12. mar. 2019 kl. 16:27
This build is awesome. Would really like this. Wonder if this can be combined with that orbit script?
爪0!!ㄚ山3尺 12. mar. 2019 kl. 5:25
Thank you:knlhermit2:
DMC 11. mar. 2019 kl. 12:41
shift k and go to the grid and then controll and switch between cameras if they're not in the hotbar press g and you'll see cameras to put in the hotbar.
爪0!!ㄚ山3尺 11. mar. 2019 kl. 8:53
how to use the Camera when im on earth?
Procrasturbator 8. mar. 2019 kl. 11:24
Might i suggest adding a way for it to detect and mark ore locations? assuming you can think of a way for it to do so. or even make a way you could have it fly a drone and mark locations for you.
Si Cwan 6. mar. 2019 kl. 22:47
Is the satellite supposed to flip so you can use the laser antenna? or is that what you use to link 2 satellites? also, I"m playing w/o the speed mod and one of my sats seems to have drifted.. it ended up being around 50KM from the surface, but the one that's stayed is about 38KM
Sluggie909 6. mar. 2019 kl. 0:47
EARTH TIME WITHOUT THE MOD:
Burn time= 4 minutes and 35 seconds
Brake time= 1 second
