Heckler & Koch make some really iconic video game guns. (i.e. the Half-Life 2 pistol is the H&K USP. Match, and the SMG is the H&K MP7)

Gmod Actually has the origins set much higher than this, when preserving the hl2 origins half of the smg is obscured by the HUD.

@Big Smoke -- Some of those are from SMOD, a mod for Half-Life 2. Like the Minigun and the MP40, for example.

to anyone that was curious, this mod was not removed, Valve decided to force people to reconfirm the steam workshop agreement and doing so caused this mod to bug out from the front page.

Cannot wait for the pistols.. hopefully you'll put together a mock-up HL2-esque double pistol animation using a flipped hand with the same animation (if something like that is possible?) instead of using... I dunno, another set of pistol animations like the L4D1 ones.

What if I told you only days ago I was pondering about why there were no ported over HL2 weapons with their animations and everything, then Rex just becomes the best guy of the year 2018 (Next to Lt. Rocky and the other guys who worked on the Overhualing the originals mod)
