Fine! For some people this mod works, for me it doesn't. What am I doing wrong there? "rustic bed" works. Is this the problem?

it works fine - make sure you have the two mods it depends on - and if you are not using the Community Edition you should be

i am able to sleep for the whole period - as well as leaving the bed at any time

08/12/24 mods sort of works i can get in bed it passes the night, at dawn or dusk it wakes me up.
but cant get out of bed till the mod wakes me, also i can still use equiped item in hand, best to place to the bed near a window or somewhere where the skybox is visable so it clear time is passing

Mod seems to be broken...as of 06/26/2024 when I try to sleep in/on my bed I am then unable to get out of the bed...only way to get out of the bed is to exit the game and restart.

added this mod to skip the nights. could'nt get up. Uninstalled it. crashed my game

mod gets over written by train mod and all its dependencies. can't sleep if you have those

If I could only have one mod. It would be this one.

Make sure you have Player Attachment Pose Library and Equinox Core Mods subscribed and included in your world as well. You'll have to do Load World, Edit Settings to include them in a given save.

Anyone know how to get this Bed to work? DL'd all the required mods. I'm running CE. Bed gives me no options.

and as for support - the game development was prematurely ended several years ago - and the game was left in a troublesome and unfinished state, with many stability issues and game breaking bugs

but Equinox and another modder, Gwindalmir, spent the following few years seeking agreement with the studio to allow them access to the code in order to make fixes and continue the development

and happily, this agreement was completed earlier this year and the Community Edition was born, breathing life back into this game that was thought to be dead by so many people who had previously had so much hope for it, due to its multitude of unique and engaging features, as well as its incredible modding potential

the C.E. was the only thing that brought me back, since i had given up on the supposedly final version of the game a long time ago due to crashes and game breaking bugs

and i have now played the C.E. for pretty much 100 hours in just a few weeks :-)

@Drizzt thank you very much for a thorough explanation. I saw comments about CE, but thought it was yet another mod.

I will give this a try. This is an awesome game, and kinda sad it's not getting more support.

@WileyCoyote - you will almost certainly need to be on the Community Edition, which is available through the Betas tab in the Steam properties for the game

The C.E. is the only version which is receiving updates, and has already had some major stability issues fixed - i would highly recommend using this version

it should also be noted that the author of this mod is one of the developers for the Community Edition (as well as being responsible for some incredible mods)

so if you install the C.E. it should fix 2 problems - firstly you will be able to use this great mod - and secondly you will have the best and most stable version of the game - win win :-)

I just got ME and installed this mod. I get an error saying both of the dependency mods (Player Attachment Pose Library and Equinox Core) are not compatible with my version of the game (see game info below). The bed changes the look, adding the pillow and player label text, but I cannot get into the bed with any key command I have tried. (Lmouse, Rmouse, Enter, F, etc). Nor does clicking or holding any of these keys forward time.

Any suggestions?

works perfectly with C.E. - essential mod - although it's worth also installing Gwindalmir's Moon mod and occasionally staying awake and appreciating the night sky :-)

Not sure whats wrong as its working for me no problems, use it every time nighttime arrives..

Would love to see this mod fixed. Its the only sleeping mod out there and the night is a pain to work with.

@Rainkiro you have to enable the mod , you can adjust settings when loading your map

So how does this work? I subbed to all three, my bed doesn't even show the pillow, I just wanna pass through the night. How can i make it work?

not working.. subscribed to everything but ingame its not doing anything with bed.. .tried to deinstall and install... tried to start a fresh game.... nothing.

I'm left wondering how much game code is actually Equinox code.

MP issues are due to a Keen bug I found. Devs informed so should be fixed in the next patch.
In the meantime, time does advance in MP, it just doesn't synchronize to the clients. Rejoin after you get kicked out and it should be morning.

This mod is an absolute must-have for me. But ever since I updated to 7.1. it doesn't seem to work as it should? I lay down in the bed, but time does not advance any faster. After a short while, I get kicked out of the bed. I checked the solarElevation (CTRL+F11), and the sun is defintely below -5. Even at -30, still just get kicked out of bed without time warping at all.

@Equinox thanks for updattng this as its a great mod , singleplayer works as it should, my only problem is in multiplayer, husband hosts so not my game...we both lie down his game advances to daylight and kicks us out of bed, however i am still at nighttime on my screen

It takes a while to skip the night. Did you wait until your Char jumps uo by his own? You can skip from dusk to midnight and midnight to dawn as well.
Only thing is - it does seem to be broken in MP.

this bed doesn't work it won't sleep through the night anymore needs fixing. it lets you claim it and you can click the sleep through the night option but nothing happens

When I go to claim the bed it crashes my game

@Phantoma you don't actually have to add the other two mods to your world, they get auto added. I'll need a log to debug your issue.

I cannot sleep after 0.7 update. The pillow is there and I can claim it but no message of "Lay down" when I point to the bed itself. I have the other 2 mods too.

@Ljagurac same. They should have had this feature in the game by default. The nights are super annoying when you're in survival and trying to build megastructures.
