i have my doubts as to wether the gun actually works. although it is indeed possible for it to shoot portals. idk, im not to good with the source engine.

You could just look at the top right corner it should say "DEMO" or you could look in the left corner of the picture and see the "Movie" symbol. I realy hope this helped.
