MOPP is a acronym for Mission Oriented Protective Posture, these suits were issued during the gulf war. It was believed that Saddam Hussein was going to use chemical weapons (he did in the Iran Iraq war) but these continue to be issued to my knowledge in the same M81 pattern. So yes they were/are issued to all units
