Yes, there's a bunch of different ones in different colors and a creative one. If they're not showing up the mod may not be loading right for you. Are you using Community Edition?

you used to be able to just add fuel and oil and it worked now it seem i need a whole room of tanks machines and pipes just to do the same thing

all my pipes are just falling to the floor

You can attach them anywhere, but you should watch the video on how to use pipes that's attached to the mod

The steam engine isn't accepting any of the pipe placements i try. Where to we attach our pipes?

They need fuel, water, and lubricant, then need to be turned on and let warm up for a minute or two, then you need to throttle them with keybinds. They do work fine

Seem to not work, tried lot of things but that don't rotate, the pistons only moves when i move manualy the vehicle, but the engine start but nothing move
(I attempted with other created vehicle, lots dont work)

Only the "Water output tank" and "Salt Water" are filled

You place the pump down and power it with mechanical blocks like a windmill, and use pipes or jerrycans to fill engines with water

Compressed air is for operating engines underwater

@Phooenix THANKS. Also is the (air intake compressor block) part of this mod? I have figured out how to get it to work however i tested it and don't see any difference in the steam engines performance with the compressed air tank full vs empty ........is the compressed air for something else?

Continue -> For example connecting a water tank and a lubrication tank to an engine you need so specify on the steam engine (reciever) that the water hose goes to the internal water tank in the engine and same for the lubrication hose, and to aim correctly on the outlet have made me swear many times, sometimes it like a pixel you need to aim at and sometimes the place you need to aim is outside the thing. And dont place it near the other accessports because then you won't be able to click on it because it will autoselect the inventory for coal for the engine.

The water pump can you setup like anywhere because it pumps up "groundwater", plop it down anywhere and it is a mechanical block so i just run a mechanical shaft up and then two windmills on either side. Same with refinery and manufacturers (ok another mod lol but i think the water pump is from another mod also and not in this mod specifically). After the pump have been placed you can place a tank beside it and either connect from the pump to the tank with pipes or use a hose (crafted in the spinning wheel with leather and somthing other i can't remember exactly) you also need a inlet/outlet thing for it, and when connecting them with steam engines it can be fiddly to aim correctly to set up the correct output.

Could someone make a video showing the use of most of the blocks. id really like to know what the function of the water pump/ fluid dumper is for and how they are set up for example.

do /tide help or /help tide, don't remember which order. It'll give you a list of commands that can be used to adjust the water

not sure what is going on with the mod but my worlds are flooded with water, is there a way to either remove said water or lower the level?

You can make plates in the forge with bronze ingots in your inventory. Pipes can be made when you have plates in your inventory

i'm having issues making the engine. There is no way to make bronze pipes or plates.

I might add that I'm on the community edition.

And another, less important and separate issue, if im holding a jerrycan and empty it, then switch to another filled jerrycan to the same hand the game crashes

To fill the huge steam engine with water from a jerrycan filled with water, when i click when water is selected in the menu it just makes the "creaky" sound

@Johnbeere Yes i know, but it doesn't work. I have a bunch of other mod but nothing that should conflict, other than the advanced steam engine mod.

When you middle click the engine with the jerrycan, it should cycle inventories, then when it's on the water inventory left click.

Tried with the creative jerrycan also but still didn't work.

Seems i can't fill Huge steam engines with water from jerry cans, i do have the advanced steam engine mod installed aswell.

The engine nowadays do work differently - they need water to run

@Kill3rCat [1st FORECON] Okay I'm sorry there is no need to be sarcastic, I was asking because I have not played the game for a while and have noticed all my engines are no longer working. Idk if this is due to a update change to how they work now or what, so I am guessing from your comment no one else is having problems

You only need the compressed air if it's running underwater, otherwise it's just water, lubricant and fuel

The air compressor creates compressed air. You can do with it what you want. Send it directly to the engine or store in, in case your making a submarine :D
