Say I wonder what Tainted Moth 's playstyle would be,could that be based on Creepy Castle lore or TBOI:Rep Lore?

in what way? I literally just updated it for repentance, just saying 'broken' is never enough info to go on, does the game crash? does the character not appear in the menu? does the characters costume/sprite look broken? is it that the sword isnt appearing? at least say what the actual problem is

I totally enjoy Moth now as it's not just Mother's Knife.

The beam sword is surprisingly powerful even at low damage which helps with underpowered runs. If any glitches occur, I surely will let you know. ;)

I spent some time trying things out with the lua, have got it to use a sword instead of the knife, sent a friend request so I can send you the updates

Maybe you can ask around people if they can help you with making a sword with an ability to shoot a projectile... I mean, I'm pretty sure someone is out there that made something similar, right?! So they would know how to give a little guide.

When in doubt, ask around! It's not like you're going to get punched in the face for it. ;P
Just ask some locals and see what happens, cause I would love another melee like character, especially this cute. ;D

I mean, it's reaaaaally easy to make him not "shoot tears", the main issue is not having a way to hit something from a certain distance makes some rooms almost impossible to complete. I wanted to fix that by giving the sword like a wave attack (as a boss he has one in his game), but since I don't know how to program that sword...

Until the problem's solved i have a solution! there's a mod called blindfold. Get it, make a run with moth, give yourself spear of destiny and blindfold. The blindfold doesn't touch moth's sprite so yay!

Just get the documents of the forgotten's club, copy them, make a skin for them, and then add it to this character! That's all i know

You could take the aspects of forgotten's bone club, put them in a sword, And make it an item that moth starts off with, AKA his sword :)

I was debating whether to do it or not, but I decided not to since the character in the game only has one color, so I kinda wanted to give the same feeling

Could use shading in the characters.

Cocoa I've had very same very low fps issue with another mod called Angela, and it turned out to
be a StatAPI 2.0 that caused her to glitch and lag game to being unplayable, just check which mod breaks this mod. (Just a suggestion.)
