@Boxboy, Make sure that you use the HWM sniper from tf_movies, and then do $basetexture on "sfm_sniper_red", and then you input this. You'll need to remove the ".vtf" out of the line.

models\player\sniper\sfm_sniper_cbs_final

CBS' primaries are mostly arrows, so a crossbow is legal.

It's in the workshop folders, you should copy and paste the texture directory when you put $basetexture on it.
Don't worry, it will look for the said workshop folder.
