Hello, @Telkir. At the moment I'm taking care of the Expanded Woodworking mod. Your textures for wooden floors already have a color, so it's not possible to use the colors of the different types of wood that my mod provides. I have prepared decolored versions of each of your wooden floor's textures to fix the issue. Do I have your permission to upload these "updated" textures to my mod?

Ah, I wasn't sure how it worked - that's a pity, but guess them's the breaks. In that case then just let me know what your workshop links are whenever you're able to do the changes you want, and I'll be sure to put a clear link in the existing TMods pages for folks to follow.

No problem, Got a bit of life to deal with first, but when I have time, i'll get to work on some patches to fix some soft incompatibilities I've found. As much as id prefer to keep this all to 1 mod page, sadly steam doesn't seem to allow contributors to update the mod its self, only moderate the page from what I've seen.

I know that rooting around inside Steam folders looking for Workshop files can be a pain. If you're comfortable with installing a non-Workshop mod, you can download this pre-edited version [www.dropbox.com] of MoreFloors to do what you're after. Just unzip it into your "<Steam Install Folder>/steamapps/common/RimWorld/Mods" folder. Then, when you launch RW and check the Mods menu, the MoreFloors you need to activate will have a normal folder icon by it instead of the Steam logo. Just make sure you don't have both Workshop and non-Workshop versions activated at once!

As I replied when you last mentioned this, @Mysterius, this is a simple edit that takes only a minute or two using Notepad++. In case it's helpful here was my original reply:

You can do this by using something like Notepad++'s "Find in files" function to quickly replace "<designationCategory>MoreFloors</designationCategory>" with "<designationCategory>Floors</designationCategory>" in all of the terraindef XMLs.

Calling it a "stupid" decision makes me quite irritated because it's a no-win situation for me. Some people prefer the separate tab because it avoids a bunch of UI clutter inside Floors, whereas other people like yourself prefer everything in one place.

I've given the solution to you twice now. If you need help applying it, let me know.

Been using this mod for years. Still great floors. Still the most stupid decision ever to use a custom tab in the architect menu. A pain in the ass to design a base when you have to go back and forth between the Floors tab and the MoreFloors tab. Sigh.

@Amnesiac Because it does. Read the Stuffed Floors mod page, doesn't explicitly say so but it does mention adding certain floors from this mod. It also removes the vanilla wood floors.

I would encourage you to change the names of some of these patterns, which have names.
• StoneRandom is called Versailles. "random" tiles means something very different.
• StoneMosaic is called Pinwheel or Hopscotch. A 'mosaic', in tile, is something different.
• StoneRough, although I have no issue with the name, this pattern is named Opus Incertum.
• finally, StoneDigital. neither descriptive nor prescriptive, it's retro-interpretive refering to a pattern that looks like a 7-segment display. I would like to propose naming it Erice, Erice Paving, or Erice Hex, as it's the earliest reference I can find of this style. 'Digital' means digits, or fingers. I understand the reference to a 7-segment display of a calculator, and that the words 'digit' and 'numeral' can be interchanged, however this is an interpretive association. Like calling a Telescope a 'sky barrel' while tele- means far and scope means to view. =)

Can confirm, <tags><li>FineFloor</li></tags> doesn't do anything. Also, changing granted beauty doesn't do anything either. This might just be a quirk of having them added from the workshop, I haven't tested manually adding anything in the mods folder.

Ya it seem to work for every terrain except for the wooden flooring XML file MoreFloorsTerrainsWood. I tested out on the stone flooring and the rest and it works. All well, worth the shot :)

@Sinz - I'm not sure why that wouldn't work. As long as you're pasting that into the def in a part that's outside of <statBases> and <costList>, you shouldn't have trouble. The safest and easiest place is probably right above the closing </TerrainDef> line of the floor you're trying to edit.

Also, make sure that you're editing the file inside the "1.1" folder, otherwise you're only changing files that are used by RimWorld 1.0.

Can i make FloorWoodMosaic as fine floor as well. I tried adding <tags><li>FineFloor</li></tags> to the XML file but no dice. :)

Open "MoreFloorsTerrainStone.xml" and scroll to around line 126 where the definition for "TFloorBaseStoneRandom" is. Paste this somewhere in the def (but not inside the statBases section):

<tags><li>FineFloor</li></tags>

Save and you should be set.
