Wasn't there a cabal advisor already?
I sued to have it in the older Stellaris :/

Great mod but CABAL would be goated
T'erissk 21 feb @ 10:57
We need CABAL :3
factualhat 11 feb @ 6:40
c&c is so goated i needed this in my life
Aerolfos  [skapare] 23 maj, 2024 @ 16:33
You are correct. Messed up the category that holds the voice lines, it's fixed now and should be under the proper Voice slider.
LNOMAD 7 maj, 2024 @ 11:22
With the latest update, changing the assistant volume doesn't seem to affect it. Only the general volume seems to affect the NVA.
BTW, I love this mod. Thank you for making it.
Greenshadow 12 jul, 2023 @ 10:52
i wonder what would be fitting for the "council agenda available" voiceline here
Aerolfos  [skapare] 10 jun, 2023 @ 15:30
No modder has any control whatsoever over the paradox launcher or the steam workshop. Anything outside of stellaris the game really has nothing to do with the mod contents.
tomato 7 jun, 2023 @ 20:11
Sorry not sure how to explain. I first tried installing this in current version and it does not show up. Not sure what I am doing wrong. :/
Aerolfos  [skapare] 7 jun, 2023 @ 8:58
What do you mean "delete/resub", I can't do that?
I have no control over what steam does whatsoever.
tomato 6 jun, 2023 @ 22:01
Hm, could you delete/resub and see if you still have no problems?
Otherwise any advice for manually adding it? :)
Aerolfos  [skapare] 6 jun, 2023 @ 4:42
I'm still using it, the mod itself is working and should be on steam same as ever
tomato 6 jun, 2023 @ 1:49
Seem to be having trouble getting this one to appear, have sub/unsubbed and removed from mod list etc a few times - maybe it needs an update?
Sargent.Leander kartoffel 15 maj, 2023 @ 6:56

Aerolfos  [skapare] 27 mar, 2022 @ 5:38
Oops, didn't update for a while, but it's been working the whole time and is *highly* unlikely to break for future patches.

I've been using it the whole time, no problems.
Aerolfos  [skapare] 18 apr, 2021 @ 12:19
Welcome to the workshop and PDX launcher - they're made of black magic.
Dust the Regulus 18 apr, 2021 @ 12:10
So I fixed it, by.. a bit of a longer process. Unsubbed, deleted it from the mods list in the launcher, verified the mods I was subscribed to, resubscribed to it.. and it works now.
Aerolfos  [skapare] 17 apr, 2021 @ 5:01
Can't say I know what could possibly cause it, it works on my end. Check the steam workshop folder "1535597838"?
Dust the Regulus 17 apr, 2021 @ 4:35
I tried enabling this after obtaining Nemesis and it isn't appearing for whatever reason.
Paulo 6 maj, 2020 @ 1:37
Epic mod!

Thanks for sharing this! :chestoftreasure: :Gifting:
Aerolfos  [skapare] 23 mar, 2020 @ 11:20
Ignore the error and launch the game, it works anyway.

Also, delete the ugc_<number> files in ~/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod to force the launcher to check the versions. The mod should be 2.6.* but for some people the launcher will overwrite with the current game version, which could be 2.6.0. Force it to check again and its fixed.
Takichi 23 mar, 2020 @ 9:34
Doesnt work on 2.6.1, only got the "Needs Other version to run" Error.
Gugnonk 14 dec, 2019 @ 5:07
Hey guys, for me this worked.

I've opend the .mod file and deleted the whole line "archive". So that there is just the line "path=...". It's as he said, the archive path pointed to a .zip file which was not present at all, after deleting the line it worked- atleast for now. I've just started the game to to check and voila, its there!

Just as @Gicks said.
Aerolfos  [skapare] 14 dec, 2019 @ 3:07
It is the launcher causing it, overwriting my .mod file.

I uploaded "path="mod/nodvoiceadvisor" which is a relative path, it shouldnt have an absolute one at all.

But honestly, nobody seems to have an answer as to what to actually write in the .mod, it works when it wants to and otherwise you're fucked.

I guess the workaround is take the unpacked .zip, drop it in .../USER/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod, both folder and .mod, and run it as a "local mod".
phillip 13 dec, 2019 @ 17:33
And for some reason, there happens to be the same exact path="C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/281990/1535597838" line at the last two lines of the .mod file. Problem could be that the file is given two paths, but I don't know.

Also apparently my solution did not work, but it might work for others. I blame this stupid new launcher. Paradox, you bunch of fu-
phillip 13 dec, 2019 @ 17:20
I am also having trouble with finding the mod, but I found the solution. The problem is with the .mod file in the Documents/Paradox Interactive/mod folder; the .mod file is trying to find the .zip of the mod directly within the Documents/Paradox Interactive folder when the actual non-.zip folder exists in the Steam Workshop folder.

Here, the line is currently: archive="C:/Users/USER/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/nodvoiceadvisor.zip"

I changed it to: path="C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/281990/1535597838"

If you change it to the latter, it should probably work.
Gugnonk 9 dec, 2019 @ 13:31
@Doomshroom found a solution? I can not see it ingame also..
Aerolfos  [skapare] 19 nov, 2019 @ 7:49
Tested it myself and I can select and use the advisor just fine. If the .mod and descriptor.mod files are both fine with the correct path I'm afraid don't see what's going wrong.
☢Doomshroom☢ 18 nov, 2019 @ 15:11
Hey again, thanks for updating the mod version (even though it only removes the red triangle ^^) i checked the files and it looks like it's leading to the correct folder and everything, but i'm not getting the advisor in the list which is odd. Im not sure what could be wrong, it shouldn't conflict with anything right? anyhow, i'll look at it some more as no one else has reported anything it's possible it's on my end ;)
Aerolfos  [skapare] 18 nov, 2019 @ 8:46
(also the .mod file was still saying 2.4.* so I quickly fixed that to 2.5.*)
Aerolfos  [skapare] 18 nov, 2019 @ 8:40
No idea. It shouldnt have to be updated and Im pretty sure my version worked, though the new launcher makes everything mod related 10x harder.

Check the .mod file in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod ?
☢Doomshroom☢ 17 nov, 2019 @ 8:14
Hello, i seem to be unable to use this advisor, im on 2.5.1 and other advisors from earlier versions are still working, does this have to be updated or am i missing something?
Nemek 13 okt, 2019 @ 17:05
One vision one purpose!!!
Reeon 1 sep, 2019 @ 10:15
With the new "Stellaris Tiberium Wars" mod, an E.V.A. voice advisor would be a wonderful compliment to the current NOD Advisor mods.
Azrael 14 jun, 2019 @ 2:11
I like Cabal more to be honest, he sounded more sadistical, more fitting to the Brotherhood!
