Sorry for the triple post: Just managed to fix it.

SOLUTION: Everytime I clicked "plan" a random placed outline showed up. So I clicked "reset". I did this until no random outline was placed anymore. After I did this, I could plan as expected. I had to do this about 20 times.

and reset doesnt work. When I click reset and click plan again, a outline is placed instant somewhere on my map.

Awesome mod, but I have a very strange behavior. :( when ever I plan the outline, it just puts the outline wherever / or all over the map.. I cannot define the outline the way I want. it is very random placed. Once it worked, and I need to get this mod back to work :/

thanks for the well written explaination. The left part of the thumbnail is a rock-structure on american terrain, while the right side is a dune-structure on a quickly written desert terrain.

The original purpose of this mod (for me) was to make selfmade maps look better. usually, when you take a heightmap from terrain.party, the heightmaps are not very well defined and look washed up and boring. This mod adds some spice.

I've tried it with the satellite overlay I use on my current map, but unfortunately it's virtually useless on the satellite texture as it overrides all other terrain textures.

Okay what it does is, it adds detail to the terrain by adding bumps and ridges. You draw an outline, it generates a certain type of height distortion within that area. It doesn't change terrain colour like the mod's thumbnail implies, but the terrain looks quite lovely with these structures applied.

I'll try it in my game and report on what it actually does.

Well, you can either try, look at the pictures or wait for someone to make a video. I suggest first, though I know this is a purely cosmetic tool with limited usage for most players.

Wow. Sounds really cool, but I don't know what it actually does.

Can you give an example of "detailed structures". Are we talking buildings, trees, rivers?

Intruiged by this had to download it to try it out. I like anything that allows for in game map customisation :-)
