Any thoughts of converting this mod into SA?

Is is possible to set this in the GameUserSettings.ini instead of spawning the settings in a book? I wanted to use this across my cluster.

The "respawn with items" feature is critically broken. It only recovered a handful of the items, and some items were deleted from the game entirely. Is this still being maintained? (Genuine honest question, not sassing.)

We tested this alongside The Hunted overhaul and without manually adding anything to the configs, found that 1. the in-game config tool can't be used and 2. corpses and bags are being destroyed instantly and completely. Removing the mod gave us our corpses back.

I have the same problem as Gardor, not getting any experience, just passive. also hardcore isnt working for me.

I understand that the mod will give 10 options for choosing death. But I do not understand how to choose the option with which to play, where and what should I specify so that after death the option I want would work?

Hi, can someone answers to "Chuc", and now me: in hardcore mode, you lose all, xp, engram, etc, so you restart at level 1? And second question: you lose your structures and tames, too? Thanks by advance. ;)

Would you be willing to add a feature that will let you keep your whole inventory, not just equipped items? That's a feature of the "Automatic Death Recovery" and "Death Inventory Keeper" mods, but Death Tweaks has other useful features, so I'd prefer to use it instead.

Can you add in the use of an INI? We fired up another server, forgot there was no INI and vanilla seems to remove corpses on death. :) Oops. With ini it would have saved settings nicely.

Sincerely, great mod! ive looking for a different type of hardcore, but this is good enough. Can you make another version where you can gain "lifes" mario style through crafting? like: you have 5 lifes from default. u go 0, game over for u. But through using element (like, lots of it), you can craft more lives with the replicator. That would be the best way to feel the death more closely without losing everything because some weird glitch/bug/something else.

the hardcore option in this mod, does it allow you to keep structures, dinos and tribe? I like hardcore but i dont like the idea of loosing my tames or buildings

i'm curious the same question as Greymantle, but let me reword it a little.. if you set the % to loss XP .. is that the % of the current level . .or is that the % of the all xp/levels combined. for example, lets say you have 1,000 xp for level 1 and 100,000 xp for level 10 .. if you set it for 10% .. does that mean it will take 1000/10 = 100xp away .. or it will take 100,000/10 = 10,000xp away? .. huge difference in these numbers at starting vs endgame.

If you setup loss exp is that a total of the level your on or your total exp of all your levels?

Is this a per person mod or is it server wide.. I would love to set my server with this mode of play...

How do you set the percentages in the Lost XP multiplier and the XP Orb Multiplier ??

any chance you and tweak stuff to lower the file size? like use already in game textures for the UI?
also, the destroy achievement skins option can prob be removed as its a available setting in the game now under the options menu.

I love this mod, but I was wondering if it was possible to also transfer non-equipped items to user on spawn as well? It's the only thing missing for me. As a developer I'd even be interested in helping implement an option for this if needed.

Love the mod and I just wanted to stop by and let you know the hardcore option maybe bugged, though it destroys my body and items you retain your levels and stats and you get a small notifica tion that a mindwipe was used.

Hi, just need some clarification. If "Destroy Inventory Items" and "Respawn With Items" are set to Yes, does this mean that a player's equipped armor and hotkeyed weapons/tools are preserved on death, but the items in inventory are removed? I've been looking for such a setting, but I want to make sure I understand it correctly

any chance of a version that saves your inventory too? we like the editable repair/xp penalty but losing items just feels like being forced to grind more...

I don't think it deletes the stuff tied to your character tho or tribe. So if a couple or few of you were playing together it would tie everyone together and everything is all.

Ripped24x7 Yeah you dont need mod for this. this is the normal Hardcore mod included in game option. when you die you have to create a new character and lose everyting.

do the saved setting stay even after a reboot?

Is there the possibility of an Ultra HC like 1 life challenge version that deletes that player's/tribe's dinos/buildings also?

If you have admin rights you should be able to hit <Tab> to open the console and then copy and paste the cheat command above. However you may need to enable cheats first. Here's a link to all the commands that may help you: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Console_Commands

When this mod is setup to destroy the player's corpse and leave a death cache, is it suppose to destroy the player's armor as well? That seems to be happening on my server atm.
