Would love it if somebody was willing to pick up this mod and update to 1.4.

I keep checking for a 1.4 update everytime I power up Rimworld - this mod added so much to the game. It's really too bad you don't have time for this anymore Jaxe, thank you anyway for a good few years of support on this mod :D

huh, kinda sad to find what looks like a really good mod, suggested by the creators other mod page (RimHUD) only to find it's out of date -_-

I was contemplating doing a new colony. I haven't played since late 2021 since last year I got some bad news about my health. Now I am not sure I even want to start a run without this mod. I hope someone that knows how to update it can do so. Thanks

This is one of my favourite mods, the game isn't the same without it.

Have been having the worst time to find a mimic for your mod, @Jaxe. I know you have personal needs that most likely no longer include keeping a years old mod just above water. I hope someone can take up your fight.
This and 2 other mods have been the only thing keeping me in RimWorld as they are the only things that make the game have any sanity at all. PR, BPC and AL/AFR.

Thanks Jaxe, the biggest feature that I miss is the 'allow courting' option.

My intention was to discontinue this mod as I didn't have time to address the issues it had and noticed a lot of its features were somewhat replicable in vanilla, I'm quite surprised at the interest still. It's still open for adoption but I may look into a simple 1.4 update but I won't have time to check issues

This is the one mod I will miss the most in 1.4. It really should be base functionality

I know the author is busy with other work atm, but if anyone sees this, just know there's a bug with this mod in 1.4 that hides the Draft UI option. I spent hours figuring out which mod it was so you don't have to!

@Jaxe: absolutely doesn't work for animals it seems. They keep consuming drugs and human corpses despite being forbidden.

I'm afraid I currently won't have the time to update this mod to 1.4 with the care and level of detail I expect of my mods. As such I'm open to any modders who are interested in taking over this mod

Just letting you know I think this mod is great and am gonna be missing it in my 1.4 playthrough. Hope you find the time to update at some point ^^

I did a vanilla check and Pawn Rules is working, it's just not compatible with Rational Romance 2.RR2 changes the romance chance but Pawn Rules seems not able to further change those values (make them 0%). Changing mod load order made no difference, so gotta choose which to use. Sad.

(I do have Rational Romance 2 installed. Are there any known incompatibility with that mod?)

Is the forbid courting working for everyone else? I unchecked the "Allow Courting" for a pawn, which should have prevented him from getting a lover, right? But he just accepted a courtship from a married woman (spouse in enemy faction) and started an affair...

I thought it was a good idea to get my pawns to eat only available meals, and checked "eat anything when malnourished".
It was... Until they ran out of food and started eating corpses first instead of raw food hanging around...? lol
Still i use it to feed prisoners only nutrient pastes with this most of the time. :shrug:

Having a minor issue with RimHUD compatibility; the food restriction button, instead of reading the name of the current restriction set (e.g. 'Personalized') doesn't seem to be pulling the name properly and reads 'RimHUD.Integration.PawnRules.RuleNameFormat'. It doesn't seem to be triggered by weird characters or anything like that. It's only recently shown up, (possibly since the last RimHUD update?)

Awesome mod, though. If I could make one feature request it would be a search bar for the food selection panels, when you have a lot of mods it gets hard to scroll through

i cant seem to restrict my animals from drinking beer, looking at the settings there isnt an option that i could see to restrict drugs

The animal products category is still there in storage and crafting bills. So it's not as if the category has been removed wholesale, just from the food restrictions it seems.

I made sure to check the debug log upon game load, the few errors I do get don't pertain to this mod or food at all.

For some reason animal products are missing from the food restriction menu completely, as in the category along with the items isn't there.
Even with the "allow any food when malnourished" setting is enabled no one will drink the milk that's in the freezer. I can't even force them to drink it.
