Great puzzle. Did it by what I believe is the intended method 1st, which is fab and clever; then realised there's an easier way - any road up, thumbs up for concept and design.

I found what appears to be an unintentional solution by placing a portal on the ceiling on the other side of the mote, then on the floor on the near side, then both portals on the floor on the near side, after gaining enough momentum by falling, then aiming a portal on the slanted surface. Was that the intended solution?

Yeah, but most people wouldn't think of that. I'll keep it as it is, as that is more difficult than the intended solution.
