However, you get ammo by killing people and with ammo box pick ups. So this might need a upside like mouse 2 to throw a medium ammo box.
In the old weapon concepts, the scout would have gotten a backpack that can pick up map items like health and ammo. Why not make that a slot 7 item unlock for the Scout?
slot 7 for equipment items like grenades, mines and utility items(like all the non-gun unlocks in the game excluding the demoman's shields) as well as the unlocks like the backup backpack would be good.
