To escape you have to get red key, 1 timber support, 1 grappling hook, 1 multitool, 1 contrabound pouch, you go in the top left of the map. you go trough the double red doors, and you start dig at the top, digging north, you dig 5 tiles, you go up and you have to hook in the arrows showed on ground, after that you escape by heli

9/10 map not at a 10 because the arrows guiding the path basically let me know where to go at all times.

Bro...It's the most difficult map I've ever faced, I was looking for many methods for 10 days and nothing worked for me, I hope I can pass it, in my opinion IT'S SO DIFFICULT THAT'S SO GOOD

Contender for one of the best workshop maps. The prison is huge, but none of it is bloat; genius use of the purple key (i was in genuine disbelief that one of the escapes REQUIRED it); a lot of love for the grappling hook; and a very useful vent system. My only real complaint is that the helicopter escape is the way easier option (reminds me of Offshore...) 9.5/10

beat it in six days, I love the flexibility that the prison provides and how the vent system was used a lot more here than the base game.

Idk if this is related to the map or what but green keys seem to be in none of the guards, so far checked all but one and none of them have the green key.

@Carl Geezer, when I made this map I placed arrows to give you all a hint on purpose so don't be afraid to go up the roof or down wherever you can. Good luck escaping!

@Rookie never though of using grappling hooks, I didn't know they were used outside of certain escapes like on cougar creek railroad. Thanks for the help I'll let you know if I beat it. I also beat hmp irongate 2.0 but once I got my intellect up it wasn't that hard to escape

@Carl Geezer, I haven't played The Escapist 2 in a really long time but I took a look at the map editor. This is really a tough map and you need a grappling hook for helicopter. Also, don't be afraid to check if you can go downstairs where there's no fences on the roof.
For ship you need grappling hook and a pickaxe at least.

unless you can open orange doors (they appear as orange on the map)

I cant find any way to get out of this prison. Also is the helicopter inaccessible? The doors leading to it are ones that you cant open and theres no stairs on the floor below

Honestly, I love this series of remastered prisons, just seeing the creative properties you can add to old prisons is amazing. I wish that there were more themes to get the rest of the collection, but at least we have what amazing content you have now

i just beat the prison, took 11 days, 50 items crafted, 41 npc's knocked out, 26 favors completed, nine tiles destroyed, 9999999999 heart beats per second, 99999999 screams per time i get knocked out when i have most of my stuff, i acually didnt know where the escape was at first, thats why i thought i needed a green key, i thought it was though the green door in the control room was the escape, glad i went and experimented by mining the other side, then i saw the helicopter was on that side, glad i didnt waste my time by finding a way past the green key door. very well made, and i think i might just play every 2.0 map there is (ive already played most of them lol)

ive been playing this map for 6 in game days, and i cant find a guard with a green key. am i just dumb or is the key on the 2 guards that wont leave the 2d floor?

@Sh4d0wPI It's been a while since I last played this but I can remember that I made this map difficult enough, less items would just lengthen the escape and that'd be too much for how it is lol

Woow men it's been hardest prison i was doing in my life (although i have ~300 h in TE2) . Very good made, have lot of fun and hope to never see you again ;D (took me 7 days if someone cares)

PS: if i can add something i would add less tools in mates chests, would be harder :P

Yeah, it takes a while if you're not familiar with the map. I think it took me half of that as creator to escape it myself but I'm sure escape was possible

A friend and I just beat this. And I have to say, this was easily the most difficult map we've played thus far.
We haven't played all of the official prisons yet, but still. Very difficult and although it was torture (took 20 in-game days), we felt great busting out. Nice work!

@rookie I really love the 2.0 maps and how creative they are. I really enjoyed attempting to escape them all and it's just a fun time. I remember the old Escapists, that was fun

@. Use the vents. And if you say you can't even buy a screwdriver and undo two vents, you definitely haven't read the info on this page. It's literally full of hints here on how do to get there.

Are you really? Where is no free library. I need a red key to get bookcases. It's just buffing prison gameplay. It's so boring and not interesting.

I know of something I like to call "false" Hard prison, which is a prison where you for instance just put a ton of walls at the edge of your map (Or fences) Like, I'm going to put 8 fences or something. This one, is not one of those prisons, this prison deserves a spot up there as one of the hardest prisons ever made in the prison editor, and it also belongs in my top 3 favourite maps of all time. (Also another falsly hard prison is Cavity Counterfeit, do not play it if you don't want to use alot of time gathering either files or keys #ShamelessPlu-- I will stop doing that now)
